Dear Hair Diary,

I found a receipe for a Green Tea rinse in a book I just purchased.  So I gave it a whirl.  My hair liked it!  What I did was made a pot of Green tea, I use the loose leaf type and let it cool.  The use it after my cold water rinse. I will try this once a week and see how it goes.

Last night we were moving more stuff and arranging things.  I was getting my e-bay storage set up when someone downstair went wild with a bottle of Swiss Army colonge.  Funny how some guys think that you have to bathe in scent to be attractive.  Phew! too much! Hubby said they must be smoking up and trying to cover the scent! Tongue

bye for now Roll Eyes

Dear Hair Diary,

Well the green tea rinse made my hair look funny on the second day. Embarrassed  So I did a CO and that restored the mositure.  I think what I will do is use the Green tea as a rinse before I condition.  The change of weather has prompted me to use more oil on hair and my skin now, here comes Winter!

On other fronts, I believe we might have a "nasty" hanging around the flat. There was one in the other place and it made the lights flicker, attacked the computer once and made funny noises.  I put up an old Italian charm on the door lastnight and that helped. On Saturnday I'll do my thing and kick whatever is left out.  We think it's the landlords negitivty.

bye for now! Kiss

Oh yeah I can do it.  Heck, I scared most of it away the other night.  Ah, smudging is good, I was thinking of that or I can use my heavy duty incense blend, Frank, Myrrh, Copal, fumitory, garlic, dragons blood, and other neat stuff! Grin

Dear Hair Diary,

Yesterday I wore my hair in a braid for the first time in public.  I was so neat to feel the braids down my neck! 8)  My hair has grown!  Hubby measures it against the freckles on my back! Roll Eyes

I've been so busy with e-bay.  Halloween is coming up and I have to sort out my stuff to put up.  My niece wants me to dress up as a geisha for hallloween.  I thought okay but i'll go as a Orian instead.  These are the highclass courtesans with the big hair and tall shoes. I think it would be more fun!

Dear Hair Dairy,

I did my emu oil leave in lastnight and will wash it out later.  I have given up my BBB for my kushi comb.  It does a better job I think.  I made up a new do!  I put half my hair up in a scrunchi then take the left over hair twist and warp it around the scrunchi and fasten with plastic pins.

Last night we went to Zellers to get more shipping stuff for E-bay.  Well, there was this lady who had an unruly three year old on line who wanted to run out the doors to the parking lot.  Everyone got annoyed but not me.  I looked after the little boy so his Mum could check out.  He was so cute!  And his Mum thanked me and was very happy that I helped.  I thought that's the way it should be.  People should help each other, not get stressed out!  My good deed for the day!  I would like to thank my neice for helping me to learn how to look after kids the right way. ... The Mum was very pleased and we talked. She thought I had kids, I said no just a neice.  She said I did pretty good as I was able to distract the boy and keep him entertained as she had a huge cart full of stuff to check out.

Dear Hair Diary,

Hair been acting a little funny, it always does just before Aunt Flo's visit.  I really find my kushi comb to be awesome.  Mind you, you do not use it on wet hair.  I use a big plastic comb for that.  My hair is growing!  I'm afraid to measure it though, I'm a little chicken. Grin

On other fronts, we had a bad time at a local Harvey's resturant the other night.  Needless to say were not going back, ever! Angry Cold food, nasty servers. ack!  Thing is were veggie's and there's no other fast food we can eat (not that we would want to) You know maybe I'm old fashioned but I think teens should not be left alone to run a store at night IMO.

I just got a shinto zushi shelf!  Oh it lovely!  It is were the household kami (house spirit) would reside. I need to get more things for it before I put it one of which is saki!  I was wonder about having a Shinto shrine in the house but lastnight I felt the that I had made the little spirits in the house very happy by getting it. We have lots of fairy folk in this area.  Once, I bought a palm tree from the Home Depot.  I placed it the livingroom and ever night we would see a little sprite run from the tree to the other plants in the washroom (at that point I had over 100 house plants, now I'm down to 10 plus a bonzai with lives outside)  He was so neat!  He looked like a little dark man wearing a grass belt.  He left when the palm tree died.(it's hard to keep those!) Embarrassed

Anway, I rambling again! Cheesy Say! I'm a Stardust member!  Woohoo!! Cool!! Cool

Bye for now!

Dear Hair Diary,

These last few days have been insane.  My landlord desided to have a huge fight with me.  The man's a pig, he screamed and cursed at me for putting a chain lock on my door (of which I have the right to do) then told me I had to take down all the shelves I put up as I put holes in his flipping walls.  I would like to put a hole in his empty head! Angry  He's had me so upset the $%#@! So he says he wants to speak to my husband.  So I called Colin at work and he came home quite pissed off and talked to him.  Colin told the bugger to never speak to me again about anything and to leave me alone. Of course he did not yell at Colin.  Colin would have killed him it he spoke to him in the way he spoke to me. I am relieved in a way but if that tyrant dares to call or come near me I will call the police.  I have already reported him all I have to do is call and a cop will come and arrest him. My Mum says he does this to me as he gets off on it! Angry This poor excuse for a man has a record for harassment going back to the 1950's!!  He is insane that's all I can say, he has no friends, his wife hates him and his kids want to kill him.  You would think at the age of 78 this twit would have learned not to be such a monster.

Anyway I am feeling better and was able to sleep last night which is good. I've been practing the tea ceremony to keep calm and I find the tea itself to be very soothing.

bye for now...

I'd say that if he hasn't learned in 78 years, he probably never will. If you have the power to get this creep off of the streets and behind bars, where animals like him belong, then go for it!!

LOL @ your "grave" smiley. hahaha I love that!

Wow, the nerve of your landlord speaking to you like that!  Good thing your husband will deal with him from now on.  I had a problem with my rent office after I installed a second lock too.  They were replacing my dryer and gave my apartment key to the delivery guys without my knowledge!!!  They unlocked my door and waltzed right in, with me at home alone!!! I was so frightened and furious I put new locks on that same day and I refuse to remove them.

The tea ceremony, is it difficult?? I thought about getting a book on it so I could do it myself but, felt kind of daunted because I know it's very detailed and meticulous.

Angel,

That old bugger has to make just one more mistake with me and he's getting locked up.  As you can tell I've had it!  The grave smiley comes from a program I have on my puter.  They have some really nasty ones too! Smiley

La_Diosa.  Oh my god!  I would have freaked!  Good! you keep you locks on your door, I will too!  And no key for my evil landlord either!!  The tea ceremony is done in many steps, I'm just learning and still need more "tea things"  I do have the wisk, spoon, bowl and tea called Macha.  I don't find it as hard as long as you take your time and all.  And its a good excuse to get into Kimono! Smiley

You know ladies, I'm really happy I have you all to talk to, cause sometimes I get so sad. Cry and I let things get to me that I know I should not, thank for being there. Smiley

Awww... Lisabelle, I'm glad talking with us helps relieve your sadness.  Now, I'm feeling sad. Cry  I hope whatever you're going through gets fixed or worked out so that you don't have to experience the sadness it's causing.  Do you keep a journal (off line)?  If not, that might be something you might want to try.  I was having issues with losing my patience and just being irratable in general, and keeping a private journal really turned things around for me.  I think that it may be able to help with all types of personal issues.

Yes, I'm sure it's fun to dress in a Kimono, dressing up is always fun!  When I practice my belly dance, I always dress up in my costumes. It's so nice being a woman!!  Do you practice the tea ceremony by yourself or with someone?  There are sometimes when I can be very detail oriented and then other times when I'm so not.  I think I'd have to do the tea ceremony with someone so that it'll help keep me focused. Since I know my husband wouldn't be caught dead doing that with me, no tea ceremony for me.  Tongue

I was thinking about what you said about things getting to you that shouldn't.  I was having major issuses with this too seeing that I can be very sensitive at times.  Something that helped me out was reading the book"The Everything Zen Book".  It's really great.  Theres even a story in the book about "letting" people upset you.   Basically, if someone is trying to make you angry then the choice is up to you.  You can let them get to you or you can decide to let them keep the "gift" that they're trying to pass on to you.  It really works for me.

Oh sweetie please don't be sad, Embarrassed I know all things pass, it's  hard at times thought. Like last night -- my mother-in-law just had to pick on me about my marriage  and how miserable I made her son (we have had marrage counciling and in my case it takes two people to mess up things) and she she should talk with her track record Huh  I don't know where I found the patience and the strenght not to flip out on her.   Hubby was worried as I was very quite on the ride home, I just pulled my hood down over my eyes and tuned out. Later he said that his mother is losing it and not to listen to her.   I do journel off line.  What I do is write stories and poetry to sort my emotions. Some of my poetry is on this site in the Letting You Hair Down section.

Wow you belly dance!  Cool I wish!  I do the tea ceremony alone.  Since I do it on the floor my bunny fills in for a guest. He sits there very calmy, I put a tray of treats in front of him and he eats them!  He does not drink the tea Cheesy but he does rub his chin on the bowl!  It's so cute!  I haven't done the ceremony for guests yet, I need more practice. Oh your hubbies missing out!  You get a meal and saki with the ceremony!  Wink
The book you mentioned sounds interesting I should check it out.  I have trouble with my patience too sometimes and I'm really sensitive as well.  Thanks again La_Diosa I am greatful for such nice people like you. Smiley
