Well, tuning out the negativity is a really good thing to do, thats definitely one of my tricks.

I like the idea of the ceremony with the bunny, animals are very calming and loving so that would be a nice addition!  I'd love to see him there eating treats at a tea ceremony Smiley  My cats are anything but calm and wouldn't sit still long enough for that.
Saki...yeah, that'll probably change his mind!!! Smiley He likes saki!  But if he did agree, we'd probably have to eliminate some steps because his patience and ability to pay attention to minute details it worse than mine.

Oh, belly dancing is so much fun for me.  I've always been into all types of dance, so I can just turn on the music and be in a completely different world.  Sometimes I'll dance and dance for such a long time without even realizing that I'd been dancing for about 2 hours.
As for the book, I'd recommend you flip through it first if you can.  The book is about EVERYTHING Zen so it doesn't only have tips and stories.  It also goes into depth about the history and the practice of Zen so although I think it's great, you may find that it may have more information than you'd be interested in.  Another book you may be interested in is the Power of Patience by M.J. Ryan it's also really good.  I know, I may sound like a self help book junkie but, I like to read books that are inspirational and that teach me to deal with issues that may arise in my life.
No thanks required, I enjoy talking to all of you ladies too, I think we all benefit from this having people here that are scincerely willing to listen.  Take care hun.

Dear Hair Diary,

I did a S&D yesterday, my ends needed it.  Last time I washed I did not get the treatment out of my hair and it went all yucky, I will wash today.

Things are a little better with my landlord. He called the other day and Colin told him (yet agian) NOT to call.  I noticed the stress has made my hair shed *&(^%!!  There was a huge storm this morning, scared me right out of bed!  It's still raining... Well to day I will make cookies and what movies!

bye for now! Wink

Dear Hair Diary,

I washed my hair on Wenesday afternoon and it was not dry till thrusday morning Tongue  It was humid here and maybe I put to much oil on my ends cause it was really gross.  I have heard of people who lived on the east coast of Canada who say there hair never realy dries.  Oh I hated it!

It getting time to put all my neat Halloween things up on Ebay.  I think I will do it today. I got some neat scary movies, gothic jewlery and other neat stuff.  I need to by more Jason shampoo and condish. I'm still working on my S&D missions.  I asked hubby to give me a little trim the other night and he ran for the hills! Oh well...

Bye for now!  Smiley

Dear Hair Diary,

My hairs gotten to the point were I an wear a braid or pony tail and it looks great!  It took almost two years but I got there.  My end have been getting tangled alot latley, I need a little trim.  I have be doing S&D's.

Weather's getting colder.  Soon I will have to put my bonsai tree into the garden bed.  I just hope it survives the winter! Undecided  What I'll do is put it in a little tench and cover it with mulch up to the pot.  Then when it snows I am to put the snow around it.  I get two feet of snow in the yard so that's not a problem.  Hope it works out!

bye for now Smiley

Dear Hair Diary,

Hairs going great, I made a realy big bun yesterday and when I took it down my hair was so nice!  I love the waves and body from putting my hair up!

Yesterday it was freezing and it hailed too!  I put up a burlap screen around my bonsai and swept soil and leaves around the base to help insutate it from the nasty weather we are having.  The cold killed my basil! Cry Poor thing was all brown so I cut it down.  I also cut down my rosemary bush and have set the stems to dry.  Colin got lots of auto parts for me yesterday so today we will clean them up and put them on Ebay.  This is going to be messy! Tongue

bye for now! Cool

Dear Hair Diary,

Ooh it going to be one of the days!  My hips been killing me since 10:00 last night.  I'm having trouble sitting right now.  Grrr... hope the advil I took kicks in soon.  Watched Night of the Living Dead last night.  Laughed my bum off!  The zombies are soooo funny!  This version had the handsome Tony Todd from Candyman!

Well landlord wars are starting again &^%$! He wants to come up and bleed the rads for winter.  He told Colin that it would be sometime this week.  Great! Angry  Colin is totally capable to do it himself but his Lordship wants to come in and do it.  Damn that man!  This means I have to leave the flat as I will not be in the same room as that pervert!!  we haven't spoken since he had me in tears over the new lock on the door and we never will!!!  Mind you, I hate having these confrontations and I hate the idea of fighting with people and holding grudges but theres no way this is going to be resolved unless we move. Angry

On other fronts it a rainy day and pretty dark for 8:30 in the morning.  I am going to make rice balls filled with black beans today, yum! Japanese food!  I wonder how Juri is doing in Japan?  Oh, I'am going for my Canadian citizenship!  I've been here for almost 20 years and why not.  I have no plans to move back to the US and time soon.  Thing is its I have to learn a bunch of stuff about Canada.  I at least know who was on the 2 dollar bill! and who Tim Horton was! Cheesy Grin

Bye for now

Dear Hair Dairy,

I've been doing the braid and bun thing and have been enjoying it!  Been reading alot about tea ceremony and working at making a good cup of tea.  Now that its getting colder it alot easyer to boiling water and all.

I gave my landlord a "what for" the other day.  I was all uptight that he was to come in and bleed the rads as he did not give a day or time.  So, he was working in the empty flat next door so I went over and knocked an asked when will he do this as I have things to do.  He tryed to change the subject but I just stared at him till he said alright I'll do it now.  I said i will be in the garden with my bonsai and he said Oh I do it when you get back. I said no, do it now and left!  That put him in his place, he did it and left. What a flipping bugger!

On other fronts last night was a bit scary... I went to bed at 2:00 and something was howling or crying in the marsh behind my house.  I thought if this keeps up I will have to call animal control cause I am not going out there to check it out!  It did stop, thank gods.  Man it was weird! Shocked  I know of no animal that mades that sound or human for that matter......eeeee!

bye for now Cheesy

Dear Hair Diary,

My hair's been behaving for the most part.  Tomorrow is my monthly heat cap treatment.  Been having a really bad "aunt flo" this month along with a cold on top of it. Tongue  Hairs grown  past my shoulder blades.  Hubbies measures it as I have learned not to fret over the lenght.  Weathers getting cold!  Time to break out the large floppy winter hats, for now the hoody I wear is just enough.  Thinking of the cold I wonder how Juri is doing on the north of Japan?

bye for now!...

Dear Hair Dairy,

Now that my hair is long enough for me to hold it infront and see it  I gave myself a mini trim lastnight. That really helped! Grin
Been studying the tea ceremony, I received some really nice tea the other day.  It's called "Green Storm" and I'm dieing to try it!
Lastnight I stood up to 3 am drawing on the BBS.  Man I'm getting rusty Sad @#$%!  The picture I drew was of a knight from a computer game with my own added touches.  (If anyone wants to see it I will post it)

Tomorrow is Halloween!  I have to call and see if Mum will pick me up so we can go treat or treating with Morgan.  Only one problem, her bloody Dad is going to be there and that will cause tension.  Man I don't want to be in the middle of that, crap. Angry

bye for now  Smiley
