Mucha! Ah yes...I dig his style.  Wink  I once went to an exhibition of his work with the French Club that I used to belong to in high school. And...I once worked with a member of the Mucha family. Great guy he was...he knew a lot about the family's history as well as the artist himself.

Anyway, nice work.

Oh yes, and how exactly did you do your ACV-CWC? What was the process?

Thanks Angel! Smiley Hubby and I love Mucha's art! The ACV-CWC goes like this... I wet the hair first then do and AVC rinse, then on to condition- wash-condition. Cool

Dear Hair Diary,

I can do a chinese bun now!  Look! Okay squint...its out of focus (i need a better camera) I tryed to scale this picture down but it did not work Cry

...

Had to take off my hair bonnet at 3:00 this morning.  I was burning up!  I was so hot I thought I was in an oven.  I've had this probelm for a while now and its due to my health problems. Poor hair was soaked. Well I did my ebay posting today and hope people will bid!  I have some neat gothic jelwery that has some watchers on it so I hope I get a nice price for them! Smiley  I been studying various tea ceremony books and have run into one where the author should be flogged, I mean his writing is very hard to understand, he talks backwards and this was not written by a Japanese man but a englishmen.  Gawd!  I could barley get his meaning but that's okay cause I have read alot better books on the subject.

bye for now! Cool

Dear Hair Diary,

I have to start the x-mas shoping! Tongue  I cannot leave it to Hubby or he will be out there on x-mass eve...ugh!  I think the hardest present will be for my neice - she has so many toys I think her mother should donate them and this is the perfect time of year to do so.  However, she's not the dotating type Angry.  Anyway, I already know what to get hubby and he has already bought my presents and hide them and god knows were???!! But I know not to look for them as he is really good at hiding stuff. Besides why ruin the surprise?  Lastnight was spa night for hubby, He got a full spa treatement, bath, facial, scalpe (he's completely bald) and body massage.  Roll Eyes he really loved it after a day of sanding hardwood floors. What I could really use is those heated stones you place on the body at different points to add heat.  I know there expensive so I thought perhaps I could make one.  I have the river rocks all i need is to construct a heating unit, or maybe put the stones in the mircowave?  Hairs up in a messy bun today and I'm off to do my baking! hey check my new avatar -- that's me in my favorite kimono!

bye for now!

Wow! It's so nice that you spoil your husband like that.  I'm sure he is very appreciative. Smiley
Your avatar is very nice and I like your purple (I think it's purple) kimono.
I'm not sure how of how you could heat your stones.  I guess the microwave would work as long as they don't get too hot.Shocked

Nice Chinese bun, 'nee san! I like the new avatar too!!

Oh, I caught part of a sumo tournament on TV this evening and saw nine geisha in full-on white make up sitting in the audience. It was really cool because I've only seen maiko in white make up. I immediately thought of you when I saw that. It's cool, but a little surreal to be in the country where geisha come from and to see women walking around in kimono.

Sounds like you are pretty good at spoiling your special man - good for you!

One caution about microwaving the rocks - there must be moisture in the microwave for the microwave to work properly and you don't want the rock to get too hot - or it could explode, ruining your microwave.  Some options to try might be to wrap the rock in a damp towel.  Placing a cup of water in the microwave will also make sure that there is enough moisture in the machine.

Dear Hair Diary,

I tryed my hand at Itailan hair taping yesterday.  I braided my hair on the sides of my head, like a corn braid and braided the ends in one braid. Then taking a large blunt needlepoint needle treaded it with ribbon and sewed it into the braid around my head and down the tail.  It looked so cute!  Sorry, so pics.  The ribbon came out with no problems and hubby thought it looked really cute! I loved it and want to get more ribbon to try different colors.  I used a soft satin ribbon off a chemise I had.

Bye for now! Cool

What!!??  No pictures??!!  That is a great style.  I have done that for my neighbor girl for prom, homecoming, and a play she was in.  It looks really cute and it is so easy to do.
