I'd actually never been to that site before and those head pieces are beautiful but I was thinking of something with even more metal like this http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/viewimage.x/00000000/rocklain/head06151.jpg?vvid... Shocked They had one with purple stones (which I no longer see for sale anymore) and it took everything in me not to buy it however, I'm sure that my hair thanks me everyday! Smiley

Hope you don't mind me jumping in, Lisabelle!

LaDiosa, I have one of the headdresses (not from this site, which I now love and am greatful you posted it) and I wear a solid color sheer scarf over my hair and put the metal on over that, securing as usual with bobby pins.  I've got a picture, if I can get it scanned I'll post it.

La Diosa oh that a nice head peice!  Ya!  Rabbits are a joy! They should not be kept in cages IMO.  Mine was never caged when I got him and he's a lot happier.  Cheesy

Sakina, no problem! Cheesy Grin I want to see the pictures too! Cool

Dear Hair Diary,

I had a neat treat this weekend.  Hubby and I went to the indian supermarket to get incense for x-mass presents.  I also got some rose water and a mix to make Gulab Jamun's (there like a donut soaked in suger syrup).  I noticed they were out of Amalia oil Cry Oh well..

My hair feeling dry lately.  I think it's because of that time of the month soon, hair always acts crazy then Embarrassed

Well hubbies trip was postpoined last week to this week, so I saw him off at 6:30 this morning. Cry we have a hard time parting from each other.  when we got married I had to go back to my own country the next day and we did not see each other for three months till I imigrated so memories of then come to mind.

Bye for now! ...

Dear Hiar Diary,

I'v done a lot of cleaning today and I'm pooped!  I kept my hair in a the victorian briad flip and just loved it!    Hubby called tonight to say he coming home tomorrow! ...  I have kept busy and have made more purfume oils and cleaned out some old perfume sample tubes for more of my "creations" ....  Happly I have some glass test tube type container hubby got me when he was working at the lab.  These really help with mixing. Had Chicken Korma for dinner and it was really good for frozen indian food!  I usually make my own but wanted to try this one from President Choice line.

England has yet another Ripper on the loose.  I was reading about it today on the net after I saw the international news on TV.  I've read a few books on Jack the Ripper and seen all the movies ("From Hell" was great! but not for the timid!)  "From Hell" coincides with the theory I beleive: that Queen Victoria employed a Freemason to kill all the prostitutes who know about her son Bertie's affair with "a lady of the night" and the child she had.  Of course there many theories out there but that one is my favorite.
I also have tracked the "Black Dahlia" case as well and read some strange books about it. I haven't seen the movie yet. Roll Eyes

Anyway, I'm off to have my coco! ...

You found a good frozen Indian dinner!?!  I LOVE vegetable korma and I've seen the frozen dinners, but was always too afraid to try them out.  I'll check out that Presidents line (if I can find it) hopefully, I'll like it too.

Glad to hear your hubbys coming home tomorrow, so is mine!
Enjoy your cocoa! Smiley

Dear Hiar Diary,

Oh dear!  My humidify died!  Hubby took it apart and tryed to fix it bless his soul but to no aval.   I've been piling on the lotion as my skin is so itchy.  Hopefuly we will get another one soon.

Last night I won some BPAL imps off of ebay! I am dieing to give them a try.  My favorite perfume oils have been the ones from Mermade Magickal Arts. The ones I have still smell for the most part, but the jasmine ones have faded.

Hairs been acting strange due to our unseasonally warm weather.  My oiling rutine was too heavy and I have had to cut back.  I plan to do some S&D today, it always makes my hair feel better.

Well X-mass is next Monday!  We got the royal order from my SIL to be at her house at 9:00 am.  Trouble is she lives 75 miles away!  I told hubby enoughs enough - ever year she wants use to come early, so were showing up when we show up!  We already brought our presents there so they don't have to wait.  I know I sound like scrooge a bit but she must learn that she cannot boss everyone around like she does. I do alot of baking for the hoildays, I make oodles of stuff, problem is I cannot bring any of it to the in-laws as they do not like any ethinic food at all, so everything I use to bring over is a waste.   Oh yes the holidays  -- I just wish for once hubby and I could have a quite holiday to ourselfs. (sorry for the rant) Cry

bye for now! Wink

I don't blame you, LisaBelle--sounds like it's high time for you and hubby to have a Christmas all by yourselves.  You're adults, by golly.  Time to boycott!!   Grin

I second that!  My hubby and I put a stop to the holiday demands many years ago.  We agreed to visit his family one year, my family the next year, then stay home the following year.  It was the greatest plan ever!

Trisha, Bikerbraid:  Thanks for the support! Smiley  We must lie down some rules with these people, the holidays are stressful enough.  Hopefully next year we can change things a bit.

Dear Hair Diary,

Today is wash day!  Lastnight I put in some Ojon as a pre-treatment.  I hope we can get a humidifer really soon, I've been itching like no tomorrow! Cry   Hubby was really stressed out last night, the x-mass shopping has gotten to him! Poor thing.

My SIL ( in her infiniate wisdom) has ordered her 2 year old daughter a fish take for x-mass.  It's one of those wall ones that cost a mint!  You might have seen them in James Bond movies.  All find and dandy but she has not even got it yet and wants to put it up for Monday.  I've had fish for years inculding sea water reefs and cave dwelling gobies and I know that it takes a lot of care for these things to live, the water has to be preped and conditons made ready beofre you get the fish.  I would hate to see everything die in two days or in two hours.  She doesn't take care of her pets.  When I come over is when the cat gets fed.  So I think its a really bad idea, but you cannot tell her that! Oh hell no!

Oh well she wants to waste money....

Bye for now! Roll Eyes

Hopefully, the people at the pet store will inform her that she needs to wait awhile before adding the fish.  Maybe she'll listen to them.

I bought one of those tanks relatively cheap on eBay, only mine has been hanging on my wall, unfilled for months now.  I'm afraid to fill it with water or fish because unfortunately, the tank has attracted the attention of my cats.  I'm afraid if I set it up that they may jump on it and cause it to come crashing down to the floor.  I couldn't imagine the mess it would cause or how I'd react to the sight of gasping, flopping, fish on the  floor.Cry

Oh my lord!  I've been there and done that!  I also had a fish who loved to jump out of his tank, and one x-mass morning I found him flopping around on the rug. all covered in lint. Tongue  I had to clean him off and put him back in.  He was about two feet long so it was like handling a snake! (he was a gobie) Yucky!
