You slept on the lawn! Grin  I'm sorry it's really not funny, just unexpected.  I don't know, I think I was expecting you to say in another room or something.Roll Eyes  I'm still looking for houses and would love to find one with a private yard so that I could sleep outside under the stars, the idea sounds so dreamy.

Anyway, what dvd's did you order?  My favorite bellydancer Blanca who typically does compilation videos is finally coming out with her own instructional dvd in August, I can't wait. Smiley

Yep there was me on the lawn and its not the frist time either! Grin Grin  I ordered the Belly Twins three DVD set.  I already have the first one.  Blanca sounds interesting.  What type of bellydance does she do?  The belly twins do Egypten.  I would like to try Turkish but I don't think my knees could take all the floor work. Embarrassed

I have 2 or 3 of the Belly Twins DVD's, I love them for educational purposes and for the routines at the end of their dvd's.

What I love about Blanca is her style.  She does all types of bellydance but mostly what they call sacred dance.  It's Egyptian dance but set to new agey type music instead of the traditional stuff.

I like Jenna too.  She dances to drum beats and she's really good at breaking down the choreography so it's very easy to follow.

I know what you mean about floor work, my legs and knees aren't strong enough to do it gracefully. Cry

Hope you get your dvd's soon! Cheesy

Hey LD, I dunno where you are but the temps here were over 43 degrees celsius...not including the extreme humidex.  I slept outside myself last night.  I took the dogs with me...they keep all the wildlife away...except those horrible spiders..shudder.  I would like to sleep outside tonight too...but thunderstorms are supposed to come through to break this heat wave.  That said, while I am under a 'thunderstorm warning' according to the news...there is not a cloud in the sky.  As I recall, you live in North America, and unlike Europe, storms show up in seconds...although it might be refreshing.

Frankly, thinking of the Bon Jovi song, 99 in the shade sounds really nice right now!!

BTW, just got a belly dancing video from the 'twins' yesterday.  Been too busy to look at it.  Plan on starting on Monday.  Never done that before.  Been doing 16 hour days in my house...but that is for my journal...and not until I am done everything on Monday.

I'm in Kansas and unfortunately it's been rainy and humid for the past two days.  When it gets too hot at night, I turn on both the ceiling fan and AC because I cannot sleep without my blanket, even in the summer. Roll Eyes

Dear Hair Dairy,

Hair:  I oiled my hair with indian home made oil lastnght and will wash today.  I found it to be a lot lighter then the store brought stuff.

Food:  Today is chutney and pickel day!  I made my lime pickle and have set it out in the sun.  It will be ready in two months!  Wish me luck! Smiley  Right now my sweet tomato chuntey is cooking away on the stove.  It is one of hubbies favorite and mine too! I only make this chutney once in a while casue as it cooks the smell of the vinger gives me a headache. Embarrassed  But the taste is worth it! Cool

Pets:  My poor budgie has mites.  His been going at his feather somthing aweful so I have just cleaned his cage and will go and get some medication and stuff from the pet store. Poor little guy.

Bye for now! Cool

Dear Hair Diary,

The curl has fallen out of my hair really fast this time.  I think I put in too much Ojon or did not wash out the oil treatment completely.
Yesterday my neigbor K called up all frantic and needed my help.  He was minding the lady next doors pet fish while she was away and he was screaming that it was dieing.  Having had fish for 30 years I went to take a look.  What a mess!  We had to clean the filter and change half the water.  The fish was way too big for the tank and being a gold fish had been over feed and pooed alot, god the smell!  He helped me abet he was piss drunk and acting paranoid crying is it going to die ever two seconds, I hate drunks! Angry  Only god know where I got the patients! Roll Eyes
He has to go in today and put the water we left overnight in a bucket into the tank.  The poor fish also has fin rot and cloudy eyes.

Pickel up date!  It doing great!  the spices are soaking into the cuts and turning a nice golden color.  Hubbies been helping and without me asking!  he's been moving it around to sunny spots.  I will be so tickled if he eats some when it ready in September! Cheesy

Totally tossed my back out lastnight, but we had fun! Grin Grin ahem! Grin Grin  we ready needed some together time as hubbies been working like mad doing 12 hours shifts for two weeks now.  He's on vacation this week!

Bye for now! Roll Eyes Grin

Wow, poor fish!  My husband wanted me to throw away my 55 gallon aquaruim because I haven't used it in over a year but I can't wait to have fish again, they really are a lot of work though. Cry

So, how will you eat your chutney once it's done?  Do you put it on meat or something?

Hope your back feels better soon, so you can commence with your "together time" Grin
