Wow, poor fish!  My husband wanted me to throw away my 55 gallon aquaruim because I haven't used it in over a year but I can't wait to have fish again, they really are a lot of work though. Cry

So, how will you eat your chutney once it's done?  Do you put it on meat or something?

Hope your back feels better soon, so you can commence with your "together time" Grin

I still have my 20 and 40 gallon tanks too.  I also have the filters as I cannot part with a 200 dollar Hot Magnum!
The Tomatoe Chuntey is done and I put that on scrambled eggs!...
The pickel will be eaten with anything really, rice, any main course...  and it can just be eaten alone as a little tart nibble.... It improves with age they say and turns nice and black.
My back's feeling a little better Roll Eyes

Dear Hair Diary,

Yawn, stretch, spew! ... A skunk sprayed the backyard and the aweful stench woke me up and I was gagging!  I put the window fan on exhast and got out of the bedroom.  I have no idea how hubby can sleep through that stink! Tongue Tongue

Well, now I am up lets do the journal. Hair been getting tangly at the ends I will try a clarification today. Lastnight while on line in the SuperStore, hubby saw a girl with really dryed out hair, it looked like a broom.  He asked me why it was that way and  I told him she blow drys too much and have never oiled her hair.  He seemed quite grossed out by the look of her hair and said my hair was the best he had ever seen!...

I bought some corriander chuntney lastnight and man is it good!  I cannot wait to put it on pizza!

bye for now! Cool...

Ugh, skunks sure do stink.  I hope you get the smell out of your place.

That is such a nice compliment your husband gave you about your hair.  You musat be thrilled.  You go girl.

I know what your hubby means about unhealthy hair.  I see it a lot now that I look around.  Forgive me, but I think hair should only be long if it is healthy.  Yes, it takes a bit of work but so does anything worth while in life.  Frankly, I don't find it to be hard work.  Too bad more people don't read this site to see about great ways to keep ones hair healthy.

Lisabelle,

They may take the skunk, but I doubt it.  Messy work, plus skunks have a homing device of sorts.  He would make it back sooner or later.  I once had a skunk nail my dogs in the carport at my old boyfriends.  The next day I was putting garbage out and the bugger nailed me when he had lots of places to go!!  I was so mad I put the garbage can over him and captured him it in, went out back, stripped, hosed myself down with freezing cold water and fresh tomatoes from the garden (one good thing about the country, can strip in back yard and not be seen), grabbed my beaus keys from the kitchen (and put on some clothes), threw the garbage can in the back of his pickup and drove about 50k before dumping the skunk in the bush.  I found out after I got home that he would have a homing device.  My beau was mad, wanted to know why I did not shoot him, but that is not my style.

Anyway, it never came back.  I figure it either go run over on the way back or it decided that a predator crazy enough to be skunked and still take him on would be a bad place to return to.  Thank God.  And thank God I had time to turn my back to him when he sprayed...I have seen enough animals who's poor eyes were soooo painful after getting nailed.

Good luck with that though.  Let me know.  If you are in the city you might luck out.

My hubby shaves his head too....but I hate it since he is too old and does not have a great head shape for it.  He looks good with about 1 - 2 inches of hair.  He won't listen though...but would shoot me if I cut mine and wants me to grow it long....even though we are split right now...and probably for good.

Dear Hair Dairy,

Crap! It 5:00 in the morning and my stupid neighbor T had the smoke detectors going off. Angry He is stoned out of his mind and burned a pizza in his oven.  I was already up as my back was hurting and needed a aspirin. Embarrassed

Anyway, we went to the car junk yard yesterday and got some parts for mum's new car.  I should not have gone, I piss off my back something terrible.

I washed and clairftyed lastnight and my hair feels greatl!  We got really dirty at the car yard.  I had my hair up in a bun and wore a bandana to kept it safe.  Today I am putting myself to bed, no house work no nothing just rest.  If my back doesn't clear up I will see the doctor. Undecided Sad

Bye for now!...

Dear Hair Diary,

My backs feeling better Smiley  I got my new bellydance DVD's yesterday and wanted to try them but I dare not. Cry  Maybe by monday I can give it a go.

My budgie is feeling better! I got him some meds and a bird protector for the cage to chase the mites away.
My hair is behaving so no problem there.  I just wish it was thicker. Undecided

Watched the movie "Patton" for the umpteenth time last night.  My Dad served under him in WWII for the Euro campain (sp?) He was as a Sargent in th 3rd army, 4 armored div, 53 infantery battalion and drove a halftrack that housed the radio. What was cool was they had a picture of superman wearing a radio headset painted on the door. Cool  Dad got to meet Patton and said he's nothing like the Geroge C. Scott character in the movie.  For one Patton had a high voice, was taller and swore worst then a drunken salior.  A better movie was "The last days of Patton" In it you see more of a bio on the man as well as his family.

Anyway I off bye for now! Cool

LOL, I could not figure how we got to monkeys until I read the article, which was very informative!!  I dunno if I like the way of killing them though.  Poor things.  Ya they stink, but that is just a defense mechanism God gave them.

I had to work with monkies and chimps once.  I did not relish it.  I spent longer in training for dealing with them than I did working with them.  They can be down right mean.  You can't look them in the eye as they take this a domincance and get very upset.  Here is a piece of trivia for you (I'm sure some of you will know this).  They are VERY strong and can snap a man's arm without giving it a thought.  This is due to yet another of God's adaptations for animals and defence.  In humans, the muscles are attached to the bone at the end of the bones.  In primates, the muscles are attached to the bone about every inch or so, thereby providing them with much more leverage and strength.  Cool huh?

Lisabelle, I am glad you are feeling better.  I hope you can belly dance soon.  I am going to try to start tomorrow.
