i read in curly girl that salt water separates each strand of curly hair. i put sea salt in a bath of lukewarm water and rinsed my hair and my hair turned out so soft and i believe it helped out with the ph balance too!  i reccommend it. wish i had known sooner. its also helps with knots in my hair.
