we don't get them here in Australia and I just read an article about them, and I was wondering if anyone here uses them? Just curious to know if they're any good. Always on the lookout for a new favourite product  Wink

I have used the ManenTail Deep Moisturizing S/C. I like them a lot, but I couldn't tell if they did anything special for my hair.  That's because I'm such a product junkie that I switch around a lot, and don't always give one product a chance.  I had to order mine online from Walgreens as I couldn't find the deep moist. one in a store.  I wanted a gentler cleansing agent than what was in the regular, that's why.

I tried the CO, was kind of underwealmed.  But it seems the people who love it have straighter hair, so perhaps it's great for that kind of texture.

I have tried the shampoo and found it way too rough on my hair.   Tongue

That makes sense actually, since it was made for horses!  Grin Horse hair would probably take more of a beating than human hair...

Very True!  When my hubby saw the bottle in the shower he said that he had used the same product when he worked at a stable on the horses there.  He said that it was a nasty green color and had a different scent.

It's probably too heavy for CO though, but I've also heard rave reviews about it as a regular conditioner Smiley

The shampoo was way too harsh for my hair-it contains Sodium Lauryl Sulphate.I actually liked the conditioner,it left my hair very moisturized, but it was building up rather quickly.
So in the end I used both for the horses Wink

the only thing i ever used on a horse was diluted vinegar when runny poo made it absolutely necessary to wash it's tail. i am still amazed with the absolute insanity of using a shampoo on a horse ...  Roll Eyes
and since horses have far coarser hair than humans, i'd never try the conditioner either (imagine it's full of cones!).

It wasn't mane n tail, but I did use a shampoo and conditioner made for horses years ago.  It was an excellent product, but I never bought anymore of it.  I can't remember what the name of it was anymore.   I think it would be too heavy for my hair now though.

If I remember correctly, the regular conditioner contains emulsifying wax.  I was afraid that would build-up on my hair(This was before I knew about ACV).  The regular shampoo contains SLS, so that's out for me.

I use mane n tail conditioner mixed with my regular suave. I also thought it was a bit much and couldnt stand the smell...It wasnt bad, just weird. I only used the shampoo once and I didn't care for it...Though I plan to try again.
