More of my randomness.
Jun 29th, 2005 at 10:18pm

My hair has started growing more quickly lately, I think it  loves summer. So much so that I can notice my growth, which never happens. What I was getting around to is...My hair is about 30 inches now, which I am excited about because after I cut my hair a while ago I was very sad. But I am 5'9", so 30 inches isnt that long on me! I wish I were shorter! Anyone else feel this way or I am just really weird? Tongue

I'm 5' 8" so I feel your pain a bit.  Being tall is great though, and when you reach your goal you'll know how much longer it took, and appreciate it that much more.

That is my height too, I guess sometimes being short can be a good thing. Wink

LOL I never thought I'd hear some one say they wish they were shorter! I'm 5'5". I guess in the hair scheme of things, I can understand how you feel.

I'm 5'10'' so I can completely sympathize.  I was measuring my three year old niece's hair yesterday.  It is 16 inches, but it's past her mid-back.  If only there was a way to bottle kid's hair.

Another advantage of getting old -- we shrink, so our hair looks longer Wink

Yet another suggestion from the "you mother told you" files ...

Stand up straight, shoulders back and head back - give me an extra inch or more  Grin ...g

I gained back 1/2" of height with my second back surgery when they fused the back with rods and screws.   Grin  However, I don't recommend this method for increasing your height.  8)

I'm 5'2, even shorter without shoes, and I've heard people say shorter hair would fit my height better. I kind of wish I was taller, I wonder how my hair would look then...

well, the tall people are actually luckier.  On a 5 foot person, floor length hair is a lot less hair that on a 6 foot person!
Wink

The short people only THINK they are getting to their goals faster cos they need less hair! hehe. Just teasing guys

I'm only 5'7". I have a long torso, so this means it will take a longer time to get it to grow to my waist than other people. Tongue

Yeap! me! I have posted the exact same thing some time ago.  Though I am not ungrateful for what I was given, sometimes being a shorter woman helps heaps. Especially when wanting to brag about how long one's hair has grown  Grin Grin Grin Tongue
I suddenly remembered Charlene Tilton (sp??) Does anyone remember her? (really short with waistlength blonde hair actress from the 80's)

Yep - she was on Dallas.  Pretty hair, didn't care for her, however.

I'm 5'2" and have heard this also but I think that long hair can flatter any height!  I think it adds a little personality!
