The avergae American woman is 5'4 and thats the tallest women have been on average. All this foot 7 stuff is just an ideal. So dont worry you're not short.

Actually, when I was walking home from train station today, I noticed this elder lady walking her dog. She had amazing, snow white, waist length thick hair in a ponytail. It was gorgeous- probably the guy who described woman's hair as her crowning glory had seen some hair like hers!
