need help with baby hairs
Jul 20th, 2006 at 10:24am

For those of you with fine baby hairs around your hairline - help!  Since I've been using my microfiber turban (which I'm not giving up, no way!) my baby hairs have been sticking straight up out of my head.  I look like I stuck my finger in an electrical socket.  I'm wondering what everyone's method of taming these little beasties are?  I'm looking for home-made recipes for hair gel (or other sticky substance.)  Or would plucking them be too severe?   Shocked

DON'T PLUCK THEM!!!!  That will just aggravate the situation.

When my "holo" hairs start to drive me nuts, I use a bit of aloe vera gel to tame them into place.  This seems to work well for me.

EDIT:  "holo" should be "halo" - sheesh!

BB - Is your gel 100% aloe vera?  I had some gel already in the house, but it's not 100%. It doesn't dry sticky.  I'm wondering if the pure stuff does.

Yes, it is 100% aloe vera gel.  The brand is Fruit of the Earth.
