Hello from Chicago!
Aug 10th, 2006 at 3:52am

And another long hair has joined your forums!

I'm a soon to be 23 yr old curly girl from Chicago. I discovered these beautiful hairsticks from a longhair community on Livejournal.com. I have waist length auburn curls that form tubes most of the time...so I have to take extra precaution to make sure they don't dred. I currently use all natural shampoo bars from Prairielands Herbs  ( Rosemary/Sage, and Sage, Cedar, Sweetgrass) followed with a ACV rinse infused with Rosemary and Lavender. Since I started using them I can see the difference the rosemary has had on my hair!
Anyway...I deep condition with coconut oil about once a week and use a light gel to keep the curls in line. I tried the Curly Girl and CO methods but my hair loooooves the au naturel system I'm following right now.

Anywho...I hope to get to know you all better! Ciao!

Welcome!  Your hair sounds lovely!

Your routine seems to be working well for you - I'm sure some other curly heads here will want to hear more about it.

Guinlilly,

Your waistlength curly auburn hair sounds absolutely beautiful!  Please consider posting a picture of your hair!
Welcome to Long Locks form a guy with buttlength straight blonde hair.  Mine can be wavy if I braid it wet and let it dry in the braid though.  Your hair sounds very curly and wavy for sure.  Glad you joined us.
