Thanks Angel Spun!  Cool
My hair is curly & thick, and light brown.  I always had long hair as a little girl.  Then in the 5th grade, we started taking showers after PE at school.  My mom thought it would be faster & easier for me to have short hair, so she had it cut boy-short.  (My first trip to a salon.)  You should've seen the curls!

It has grown since then with only the occasional trim & bangs until November of last year (I'm 23), when I had it cut so that it just brushed my shoulders when dry.  It has gone without a trim since then, and it's now down to my shoulder blades.  I'd love to grow it long again (my husband agrees!) and I stumbled upon these boards while looking for long hair tips.

Off to read old threads!
