I wish I could crochet something like a cradigan!! I can knit, and even then it's only scarves.

Good to see you're getting along with the moving Smiley That's probably tough

It's busy,to say the least!!!  I won alot of knitting needles on e-bay for a steal, but am still at the knit and pearl stage! Embarrassed  I've been sewing when I can, missed that alot!  I've got a Brother Serger and sewing machine that I got for Christmas that I can't get enough of!!!!  I thought of selling my Singer, but can't find a buyer. Sad  Might have to hold onto it for a while as a back up.
I think you could sew a cardigan if you find a pattern that is not overwhelming.  I find that I have to read and re-read patterns sometimes, depending on how detailed it is.  Hang in there!!  If you find one and make one,I'd love to see a pic of your work!

Haha, a pattern? I've seen those and are WAY over my head. Maybe this summer I'll have time to learn how to read them!

And I love sewing too! I don't have a machine and can't really make my own clothes, but mending holes in shirts and things is so much fun! And I just got one of thos embroidery rings and can make letters. So...how much IS the Singer? My birthday is coming up... Wink

If you p/m me we can talk Smiley
I know Siner is supposedly the "benchmark" in sewing machines, but there are so many different ones out there, depending on what you want to do.

Of course you can.  I love to help people develop their talents!  Have you checked out www.ravelry.com yet?  It is an awsome site for knitters, crocheters, spinners, etc.  You have to wait for your invite after you sign up, but it is well worth the wait.

Moving Day is Friday!  My computer tower was taken away yesterday so I won't have access to the web until Friday or Sat.  (I'm on Mom's computer Roll Eyes)
So I'll "see" everyone after the move! Kiss

Thank you everybody!!  It's close to 10 pm here and C and our friend Thomas are still cleaning.  The birds are in the bird room, but Shasta my dog is still at my place.  IT's safer for her to be there tonight.  My stuff is still at my place, took stuff that I'd need for the birds and me tomorrow though.   I think everything should be ok by Monday, the latest.
I will be on and off until Monday,as things get settled.
See ya all then! Wink Smiley
