A wedding does not need to be complicated!!!  I recommend that you visualize it with as much detail as you can and the Universe will help you right out!  I am speaking from personal experience!

If you need some info or ideas on supplies and decorations, let me know!

Happy times!

I tried something new yesterday.....I used John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette moisturizine shampoo and conditioner.  I don't think my hair has been so curly in a long time!  I also did a CWC,something new for a change.  My hair is very curly and feels very moisturized.  That's something curlies need so much of,MOISTURE!!!!
My hair usually gets alittle more curlier when I switch shampoo and conditioner, but this I really like.  Too bad I use so much conditioner though.  I don't think it's very cost effective.  Nice while it lasts though.  Maybe I consider this a splurge and use it for a while.  I was surprised that C had it in the bathroom, but he says he likes the shine he gets from them.  Who knew!!!
Tonight we go to a place that does weddings, occasions and events.  Almost like a catering hall, but not quite.  C is very excited about it.  I feed off of his excitement!  I'm glad he's so into this,as well he should be!
I think we are going to keep the list very short, about 50.
My sister is going to be my Matron of Honor.  We'll have a fall garden party in her backyard.  I'm not one for the spotlight,so this is something I shy away from.
C and I really don't need or want anything so I don't even know what or where the bridal registry will have on it or where it will be.    I keep saying," One step at a time!"  Breathing helps!!

Since you and C have pretty much everything you need, you could always do the thing of "in lieu of gifts please consider giving a donation to XXX".

You must have been reading my  mind!!  I was going to suggest to C that we print up flyers and suggest donations to the NY MS Society in lieu of gifts.

I think that's a fabulous idea.  Smiley

Will people actually do it? Eh, probably not. But I like the concept and the sentiment behind it.

well, the date is set!!!  October 24,2008!!  2 days after my birthday(and my sister's wedding anniversary!) We saw the hall and agreed on a price!  The father and son were very nice people!  There's an elevator for me,too!  I think that cinched it!
Yes,people would donate because we are only having 50 people and it's just family.
And Trisha, Wink

Congratulations on setting a date Wink   That gives you almost a full 4 months to get everything taken care of that you need to get done.

Our 14th. wedding anniversary is this coming Thursday (June 26th.) and also my wife's 39th. birthday (that is how she wanted it).    Her niece has a birthday the day after so she will be turning 14.

My first marriage was 3 days after my birthday (which is August 30th.) but since that did not even last a whole year we did not celebrate my birthday or a first wedding anniversary Tongue

Thanks,Jerry!  4 months is going to fly by,I just know it!!! Oh, early Happy Anniversary!!!
Funny and coincidental how things are, right?!
I think the number is rising though!  I forgot a few family members Embarrassed (cousins I really couldn't leave off the list!)so it's up to 56!  I really don't want it any larger!!!!  I wanted a small, family type atmosphere setting....................
