You are very welcome and thank you for the early Happy Anniversary Wink

Our wedding was under 100 people and we even had a few wedding crashers.  You know what they say about weddings and funerals:  you know who your true friends are if they show up at your wedding or your funeral Shocked

I'm starting to have nightmares and panic about time running out!!!  The only thing that is in place is the hall!! Shocked
The florist is calling me Tues. morning to hear what I want and hopefully I can get the order in for the invitations and won't wait too long for them to come back.
My mother is coming in Thurs.for a family party on Sat.  We're going to hit a couple of bridal stores here in Bklyn. and then go to David's Bridal on Sat. in Queens.  If I can accomplish getting the invites,my dress, wedding favors, flowers and justice of the peace,I'll be sooooo relieved!  C has been in NJ more than he's been here though.  Doing some side jobs to get extra money for things.  It's a vicious cycle though!!!  I need him here to help, but we need the money to make things work!
October will be here before I know it!!! Roll Eyes

I remember worrying about things and if we were going to get them done or not Shocked

I got so desperate for an usher I offered to pay for his tuxedo rental which I did Roll Eyes

Other than that, our wedding was pretty good and went well.

Looking back, if things could be changed I would have asked the video camera person to run the camera longer and also video tape our reception (Barb is still unhappy about that).
I don't even remember who was doing the video taping though Undecided

But, what we do have I took the video tape and copied it to DVD and it looks pretty good Smiley   I did a copy for Barb and also a few copies and I put one of them in our fire safe box.

I am sure everything for you will turn out and it might not seem like it right now but it seems like they usually do Wink

I can pretty much only reiterate what's already been said. All of these little details will work themselves out. It's easy to get caught up in them, I know. But you must remember that they really are just that: little details. Not at all worth freaking out about.

Just coast, honey. Just coast.  Cool

It's been busy around here to say the least!!!  Wed. the Reverend came over( we decided not to go Roman Catholic for a wedding)She's an interfaith minister and C and I both liked her so we'll hire her for our wedding.  We were out in the morning looking for invitations.  Found them and ordered them.
Last night B that has an MS session group that I used to go to like 8 years ago came over for a visit with C and me.  That went very well. Before that my aunt came over from NJ to visit with me.
Today,my mother and I are going to some appt. at bridal shops to look for a gown for me.  Then C and I have dinner here with my mother, sister and BIL!!!
Saturday my mother and I are headed out to Queens to meet up with my sister to go to David's Bridal.  Then the finale is a daul birthday party for an aunt and uncle later that night!!! Shocked Shocked
I'll let ya know if I am still functioning during and after this!! LOL

I'm breathing!!!  Thanks ladies,I'm hanging in!
I won't make the party tonight:(,but I did find a gown!!!  Woo Hoooo!  Check that off the list!!
It's white,I was looking for Ivory.  It is something I would have never looked at to try on,but my sister saw it and picked it up for me to try.  It's a go!
Yesterday I went with Mom to Macys to put a few more things on my registry.  Then we hit 2 bridal stores.  Dinner went well here with my sister and BIL and mom.
Today we did the David's Bridal store.
So now I have registeries at Linens and Things,Macys,Advantage Bridal.com,Bloomingdales and Victoria's Secret.
Now I need to take a nap!!!

Curlygirl, I just got home last night and am catching up on journals today, sorry I couldn't respond sooner.

Go to www.orientaltrading.com and sign up for the email list.  They have wedding favors in quantity and the email will send you coupons for free shipping or a discount.  These emails are once a week, I think.

Also, go to www.save-on-crafts.com. ; They have awesome decorative stuff!!!

If you're looking for something special or specific, PM me and I'll look into it.

What are your colors?  Are you going to do balloons?  Last I heard there was a helium shortage so it could be difficult to rent a tank.  Do you want christmas lights?  I have a source for them in quantity, too.

I'm glad you've found your dress.  For me, that was the most challenging.  For my first wedding I found a vintage reproduction dress off the rack and my second wedding I had a dress made that was inspired by an Indonesian fashion dress.  I married the same man twice!!

Thanks!  I do get the Orietnal Trading Magazine, but haven't gotten one yet since I'm looking for favors.  It figures!!  Since it's a fall theme,I'm sticking with fall colors.  I did find a white wedding cake candle for a favor that C really liked.  Let's see how they'll ship in either July or Sept.  Sept. might be cutting it close though!
The dress for your second wedding sounds lovely!
My mother had a Chinese Dragon custom made dress for her wedding.  My sister used her wedding dress for her wedding.
My mother met my father in a Chinese restaurant so she had the dress made.  The dress lasted beautifully over the 40 some odd years.  Too bad the marriage didn't!!! Roll Eyes

If you're getting the paper catalog, I don't think the special offers are in it.  I think they're only from the email list.

Have we talked about how you're going to do your hair?  Are you going to post a pic of your wedding dress??

The second dress was really cool.  Since the second "wedding" was really a blessing ceremony for friends and his parents, I went totally non traditional.  It was held at the Meijer Botanical Gardens in the Victorian Garden and I had very little flowers to actually buy.  Also, all of our guests had free admission to the whole of the gardens.  On top of that, it was cheaper to rent than any other halls in the area!!!

So, are your colors orange and black??   Lips Sealed
