No,my colors are not orange and black! Although I don't think C would mind if they were!! I think the table linens are going to be salmon,coral and either terra cotta or a pale orange color. Fall colors are the key though that I want.
As far as my hair,I have no clue what to do with it. Embarrassed

My uncle's friend's wife is going to do my hair though. I'm going to insist no teasing whats so ever!!!! Either it will all be up or a part up do.
My dress is a brand new gown from David's Bridal. It is white(I was looking for ivory and lace and pearls!) It has straps and a slight v neck line. There is a zig zag type of gathering across the waist. There is alittle train which I'll have 3 (I don't know what they're called,but the train will be pciked up in the back in three places!) I'm also wearing a satin bolero with it. It is elegant and simple. I'm not overly thrilled,but happy with it. My sister actually picked it out. I would have never looked at it.
I'm trying to find wedding sneakers that are extra wide to accomodate the leg brace. I'll have to buy sneakers that are extra wide and send them out to have them decorated with lace,pearls and tiny satin roses.
I'm going to have my digital camera with me the next time I go out to have it fitted so I can post a pic!! The only alterations to be done are the shoulder straps lifted alittle and the hem brought up and those three things in the back for the train. I'll have a finger tip length train that has little pearls in it and I'll wear a comb with lots of pearls in it and I think swarovsky(spelling?) crystals.

Been doing alot so I'l update ya! Put a down payment on the photographer and the DJ.
Got someone to do the flowers. C put a downpayment on my wedding ring. Picked up the wedding invitations last week. Put a downpayment on the wedding favors. Had two make up applications done at Estee Lauder and MAC. Loed the MAC one,so much so that C bought me a 15 piece brush set and case today!!! Cheesy

Went on Sunday to a Mall in Long Island and got some make up at MAC and Estee Lauder. Got sneakers there only to find they are too tight when I got home Angry

Have to go back soon and exchange them.
Starting to get into a regular routine with my Pilates Performer now that I have all the replacement parts done.

After the Mall on,my sister and I went to a Korean Restaurant in NYC to see if that was where my Bridal Shower would be. We both felt my mother would have too much trouble trying to sit on the floor. The food was excellent and was vegan!! My sis and I decided that that place would be our new place to go to eat!!
Still using the MixedChiks hair trio and loving it!!! Did an Ojon restorative treatment 2 nights ago and my hair is still thanking me!! lol
Got the Faux fur coat and the Faux Fur cape in the mail. Love the coat,not crazy about the cape though. I think I'm going to have a bolero made by Bbeauty when my swatches arrive.
We're having a heatwave here in the eastern part of the US so I'm basically a hermit until it blows over.
To night I need to get all the names and addresses together for mailing out the wedding invitations............ there's 60 guests including C and me.
I found out also that my cousin Jessica is getting married in Sept., another aunt and Uncle are getting a surprise 25th wedding anniversary party,my bridal shower and then my wedding in October!!!! Shocked

Man,it's going to get busy around here!!!!

Ah,today's another day!! I got my faux fur swatch samples(it's about friggin time!!!) I ordered them almost 3 weeks ago! I'm mad about the beaver swatches. The co. didn't send me one swatch so I called up and asked that they send me the white beaver swatch. I then will have them make me a bolero for my wedding! I'll wear it when we leave the reception hall. It might be chilly that late at night!
I started to prepare the wedding invitations in their envelopes. I just need the best man to print up address labels and then they can go out!!
C has been in NJ since Sunday doing a side job. I've been crocheting a bolero and it's almost done. Just have to put on the finishing border and it's done!
C was home late last night only to get up early this morning and go to a company luncheon in NJ! Roll Eyes

Just when I thought we'd relax today;he's gone again. The job sent him to lower Manhattan to take down a show and wait for freight to come and pick it up. He may be home tonight at 11pm. Maybe I'll get a glimpse of him and get to hold on to him!!! Plans for the wedding are going well. We just have to tie in the photographer and limo.
My sister and I are meeting with the girl who's going to do the flowers sometime after the 8th of August.
All the little loose ends need to be handled. Make up artist,hairdresser,dress fitting,bridal sneakers,wedding band for C,gifts for the matron of honor and best man,the list goes on and on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope my leg will hold out until the wedding! I just want to be able to walk in the reception hall without falling on my face! Roll Eyes

Fall and winter are soooo much better for me symptom wise. Let's see what October brings!

Today I'm off to the lab to get some blood work done. My nuerologist's nurse called and said it's been a year and it's dangerous not to have you rwhite cell count done due to the medicine you're taking so go and have it done or we can't give you more meds!!!
Actually,I don't do well when someone says,"Jump!" I either ignore them and do nothing or say whatever!!
The lab by me closed down a year ago and there's nothing been to replace it either. So instead of every 3 months to get blood work done,I've been busy once in a while to try to find another lab who takes the insurance I've got. Roll Eyes

C is gone again! This time to sleep over the best man's house to help him with some furniture moving. Sad

Eventually I'll get to spend some time with him!!! He comes home this afternoon only to go to work for an overnight job with his company. Maybe we can catch up with eachother on Sunday!!!
Not all is bad though! I do get a chance to do alot of crocheting without being interupted!
All else is going smoothly.
I did find out my cousin is getting married on 9/21/08 in New Hope,PA!! She lives in NJ and it will be a shlep for me to try to get there! C will have to stay behind and take care of the dog,cat and the birds. I have no idea why she's getting married so far away either Undecided

I'll have to get the scoop from her though!

It's been super busy! C has been working to 11 or 12 days straight. I lost count. He's away from home and I miss him terribly Sad

He's not been away from home for the full time he's working,but 2 or 3 days at a time. He'll be home tomorrow night!

I've got my appt. for the gown alterations set for next week. I'll remember to take my digital camera with me for pics!
This past week we got a photographer! Now all we have to do is get a limo. We decided to come home after the wedding instead of going to a hotel for the night. Since we'll both be gone all day and night,it's better for the pets if we just come home. It'll be very late anyway. C says we'll book a week-end in NYC for a get-a-way soon.
My shower is on the 7th,surprise 20th Anniversary party on the 14th and my cousin's wedding on the 21 or 23. I get a little breather until my weedding in Oct. Don't know yet how much of a breather,probably not much!
