You're welcome!  Just be sure neither one of you stresses out!  Half the battle is won when you don't stress and have fun with whatever you're doing! Smiley

Your dress is gorgeous!!!  You're going to make a beautiful bride.  How are you going to wear your hair, will it be up or down?  Ooh, I could really see a half up half down with white flowers in it. Smiley  My husband and I decided to renew our vows in 2 years and thats what I'm thinking about doing.

I had my bridal shower this past Sunday and am still writing thank you cards, putting gifts away and recuperating!!
My sister did a great job and it was very nice. Smiley  I got to meet C's sister and one of her daughters.  They are very nice.  They came all the way from Albany!!  That along way to where I am.  We went to London Lenny's in Queens. My favorite seafood restaurant.  Everyone had a good time and I was so touched that so many came!!  I have my pics on Kodak,I'll try to download them here.
I think I have all the thank you notes done.  Tomorrow is C and my 1st year anniversary so we're going out to lunch and dinner!  Neither one of us can remember the exact date we had our first date so tomorrow is as good as any!!

Well, another event is done!  My uncle and aunt's 25th surprise wedding anniversary pary was a smash on Sunday!!  About 94 or 96 people came.  It was at a catering hall and all had a great time!  My uncle and aunt was totally surprised and shocked!!!  The look on my uncle's face was priceless!!!  He has a very dry sense of humor and is seldom if ever caught off guard.  I was fortunate enough to catch him off guard when I was 16 and then I saw his face when I'm 43!  It's a long time, but so worth the wait!!!  With all the hush hush,I forgot my camera!! Embarrassed I managed to get a few pics on my cell phone.  I'll figure how to download them to my e-mail address and then try to post them here.

Well I'm back from my cousin's wedding in PA.  So glad to be home!!  The winery where it was held was not disable friendly at all !!  Had a great time though!  All the food was vegan so I was in heaven Wink  Had a killer headache from last night until this morning though.  Probably due to worrying about my pets, the noise in the hotel room, the lousy sofa bed etc!!!  Just glad to be back home to rest!!

My wedding dress is ready to be picked up from alerations!!!  I pick it up Sunday and leave it at my sister's house.  I will come out of my grandmother's house 2 blocks away, but can't keep it there until the wedding cuz there are too many prying eyes!!! Roll Eyes I'm also going to get my hair trimmed on Monday.  I'm afraid that at least 3 inches will have to go because with the wedding plans and stuff I've neglected my S&D's for too long! Angry Sad  I'll measure before the trim and then after to see how many inches I've got to take off!
Went to the Food Coop yesterday with Stress-A-Ride and C.  It was fun!  It's small so we went early to avoid the crowds.  It's right next to a firehouse that had a wooden sculpture of firemen in honor of those who lost their lives at that "house' on 9/11.
Got alot of stuff there from chemical free floor cleaner, earth friendly laundry detergent, vegan burgers,Aubrey sahampoo and conditioner and other vegan foods.  Had passed by my Chinese Hair Salon that I used to go to many moons ago to get trims and I picked up some Vitamin C Hair Mask as a deep conditioner.  Expensive thoug,$30 dollars for a tub!!!  I was ultra curly after that!!  Hair feels good, but I know I need a good trim.
Still need to go to mall to return a pressure cooker set that I got at the bridal shower that is a duplicate gift.  I might get a cannister vacuum in replacement of that or a hair steamer that I saw on the internet.  C and I can use either one.  The vacuum he bought is just too heavy and a pain in the neck to use in the bird room.  I think a canaster would be better for me and easier to manuver.
I've been working on crocheting another poncho for either a Christmas gift or myself.  I will have to stop though and make a baby blanket because our bestman's wife is going to have her baby today!  This is baby #3.  I think it's a boy, will tell you all later!
Well, back to wedding vows writing and wedding stuff!

Thanks!!!
Well if it sounds too good to be true,it usually is!!!  I went to pick up my gown today with my sister and the lady who did the pinning did not do the sewing!  Bottom line is the pinning lady will re-do the mess someone made of the bustle points and fix the bolero  I have to go back again with Stress-A-Ride during the week! Angry
On a happy note, I did a henna treatment on C's hair last night!!  He loved it!  My henna and indigo should be here tomorrow.  The lady who do my hair for my wedding is coming by Tuesday to give me a much needed trim.  This time I'll measure before the trim and then again after.
After today's fiasco;I'm mentally tired so off to bed I go!!!

Got that long awaited trim or cut that I desperately needed!  I'll measure when it's wet to get an accurate measurement.  Dry it was 36 1/2 inches and after the cut it was 32 1/2. Shocked Shocked  It was needed and feels much better!  I don't think the measurements were as accurate as when it's wet though.  I figure I'll re measure when I do my henna and indigo on Thurs.
