YAY, Curlgirl!  You look sooo happy!  I don't think you told us your man has long hair!  How'd you get all that length up into such a do?

May you two have many happy, healthy years together!!!

I know, Sakina, that's what I thought, too!  #1 was "Oh, how pretty and happy CG looks" and #2 was "*gasp* C has long hair!!"   Grin
Great photo, Mrs. C, thanks for posting it!  *hugs*

Thanks,all!  I am very happy!
Sakina,to tell you the truth all my "do" was a twisted bun held up by the amish hairpins,a scunci hair safe holder and I bought a hair comb with pearls and crystals for decoration!  That's all!
I thought I had mentioned C had long hair! Undecided  Oops if I didn't,my bad. Embarrassed  He keeps saying that he wants to layer it or have long layers, but I am hoping I can deter him from that!  I just think his hair will look nicer and better without any layers!
I can't wait to see the pics from the wedding though!  Man there is going to be alot to go through Roll Eyes
I'm still crocheting my neck warmers that are going to be Christmas presents for the ladies in my family.  I bought (through E-bay,no doubt!) a pasta machine maker to help rollout the fimo clay I bought.  I'm going to make my own buttons for the neck warmers.
I'm also learning how to use the crochet loom I bought.  The scarf I made with that is almost done.
I'm waiting for 2 tunisian crochet hooks that I had made so I can make a poncho with that.  Size Q!  It's going to be a big long hook!!
I'm busy!!!

Super busy these past few days!
My brother met us at our door to see if I had voted yet.  He was going to drive me to the polling place(aka elementary school) That boy does some nice things!
I bought about $40 in yarn to continue making Mobius scarves.  What fun and super fast!!
I'm still waiting for my pretty crochet stitch markers(bought off Etsy),the tourmaline ring and 2 tunisian crochet hooks!  Ya know when you're a kid and have all the excitement of getting something in the mail or at a particular store?  I'm waiting and waiting and the excitement has worn off Angry  The mail is so slow and it isn't even around the holiday busy time yet!!
Knowing me,when everything comes I won't even want to open it.  The thrill is gone!!
I did have a thrill winning $10 on one of those scratch off lottery games today though.
More yarn?  Save it?  More scratch off tickets?  Decisions, decisions, decisions!!!! Grin

Today I decided to wash all the floors.  That went well.  I then decided since my crochet stitch holders, ring and tunisian hooks did not show up,I'd make my buttons.
I bought Fimo clay and a pasta machine maker a while ago and thought I'd make buttons to go on my neck warmers that I'm making for Chirstmas gifts.  I've never worked with Fimo clay but I turned out the clay, used some cutters that C bought me and baked the blasted little terrors in the oven!!! Shocked  I think I would be better off using a rolling pin!  They look like buttons, but they might be too thin.  I'm letting them cool.  We will see...... I just could be buying 60 2 inch buttons!  That's too much money!  At $2.99  a button  I might as well buy the sheep and shear them myself!! Spin the wool and then try the button making task again!! Roll Eyes  I'm sure they'll be good, but making 4 little holes in each button can eat at your nerves!!!
I think I need gloss for them though.  I'm off to search E-bay!

FINALLY!!!  2 tunisian hooks came yesterday!  Now I'm just waiting for the stitch markers and the tourmaline ring.
I found an unfinished "Selena Shawl" that I started 2 years ago with Alpaca yarn.  Almost finished I decided to pick it up and finish it off.  I've got 2 more rows and the fringe and then it's done.  I think that'll be for Mom for Christmas.  I think it will be perfect for her in her new home in S.C.  Not heavy at all.  I'll try to post a pic when it's done.

Busy, busy, busy!!!  I gave the shawl to my  mother before she left for S.C.  She liked it,so I'm glad.
My little canary died last week so things have been rather quiet without her.  Cry Needless to say I was very upset.  She will be sorely missed by me and the cockatiels.
On a different note,I'm almost finished with the super long mobius scarf I started a few days ago.  It's coming out nice.  I'll be finished with it tonight.
Got another yarn delivery today, but I can't remember for which pattern the yarn is for! Roll Eyes  Got more yarn coming too in the next few days.
Got my Secret Santa gift out today.  Hope she likes it!
Off to crocheting!
