I think I have all the neck warmers crocheted, buttons made and the fleece scarves serged and sewn.  I am beat!!!  I think I made a total of close to 30 items.  Now I just have to drop each of them in a gift bag and it's off to Grandma's Christmas Eve.
Some of C's gifts arrived and he went right into them!!!  lol  Fruit Cake from Figi's,because he always wanted to try it.  I couldn't tell him anything about it because it is made with eggs.  I'm a pescatarian, borderline vegan so I never tried it before.
The Riviera pears came from Harry and David, they need to ripen up a bit though.
I think there's pistachios,nut clusters and something else I can't remember.
C told me to make a list and order things!  I really just wanted to enjoy the holidays with him!  A few things came though!  I always wanted to make bread so Emil's bread maker came.  A Dennis Basso faux fur coat came,a hair steamer is eventually coming!  A Malibou Pilates chair came since my Performer is a hassle to take out and set up due to my MS challenges!
I've been very blessed to have C!  He's unbelievable with his generousity!
I really just want a dusting of snow for Christmas Eve........
Time will tell.  We had alittle of a mess yesterday with the ice, rain and snow.  Of course the weatherpeople always claim it's going to be worse than it actually is!  We got nothing!  I don't listen to them anymore anyway.  I go by what my leg tells me!!  I had sugery when I was 16 and it never fails to hurt a few days before the rain or snow.  Even after all these years!!!  I'd also listen to people with arthritis, too.  They know when bad weather is coming!
Anyway, even after my little canary passed away a few weeks ago,the holidays will be bright because I know she's in a place of peace, white light and worry free.  I miss her though.  The cockatiels are pretty much back to normal.  They were very quiet for a few days after she passed.
On a happier note, I think C and I are going to make clam sauce for dinner.
I made vegan snickerdoodles and cranberry whole wheat bread the other day.  All came out ok,I'll perfect both recipes though.
Ciao for now!!

Thank you,I am very blessed to have C and a wonderful family.  I never forget that and am grateful  Smiley.

I did a deep conditioning treatment today with my new hair steamer.  I liked it very much and think I'll be doing this every week.  My hair is very curly and soft.  I'll oil tonight with Jojoba.

Can't believe it's Christmas morning already!  C and I were at my grandmother's last night with most of the family.  It was very nice and everyone had a nice time!
My gifts as scarves and neckwarmers went over big!  I was so glad everyone liked them.
My faux fur coat was a big hit also!  Even C said I had nice taste and class for picking it out! Cool
We celebrate Chirstmas Eve and Christmas day is a recooperate and relax day for most of the family.  They either go to their inlaws,,stay home and cook or hang out with friends.
C made me crab legs yesterday for lunch.  They were good.  For the night meal we had broiled salmon, pasta with marinara, grilled veggies and there were lots of things for the non-vegans and vegetarians, too!  I was just glad I found something that I could eat there.  This year it was catered again, because there are so many of us.  My two youngest aunts were in the kitchen though making pasta with clam sauce and heating and preparing things.  They were like the energer bunnies!!
I had made vegan Snickerdoodles the day before and everyone liked them.  Usually there is coffee and Italian pastries for dessert.  I don't eat dairy so I just look and watch everyone else enjoy.  this year there was fresh fruit, nuts, chocolate covered pretzels and lots of home made cookies.  I still stuck with fresh fruit, nuts and a few snickerdoodles!
I hope everyone enjoys the holidays!!

I used Mane and Tail and Body shampoo and conditioner for the second time today.  I like it very much and so does my hair!  The next time I wash I will use the steamer again.  That seems to work well for me,too.
C ordered alot of Ojon from QVC this morning so we'll be stocked with that for a while.  I think he got the Restorative Treatment, the big jammie though,16 oz. tub,the hydrating shampoo and conditioner, the big ones,a leave-in spray and we're good to go!
I'm going to have to henna and indigo my hair very soon,in fact I'm over due Embarrassed Sad   the greys start showing after a week!! Shocked  Sooner or later they are going to beat me!!
I've been crocheting a wrap and it is taking forever to finish the trim!  I think if it turns out ok I'll put it on Etsy.  Pic to follow when it's done!

Started an Ojon deep conditioning treamtent last night to sleep in.  Washed and conditioned with Ojon Hydrating shampoo and conditioner.  Instead of the jojoba oil on the length and ends;I used the Ojon leave-in condtioning spray.  My hair feels hydrated and softer.  Lots of curls!
Just watching the Dolphins football game and relaxing.  C is taking a nap.  He has to work tomorrow night at 8pm.  Don't know if it's 4 hours or 12 hours yet.
Yesterday we went to our jeweler to place the order for the design we came up with for the double heart ring I wanted for Valentine's Day.  It should come out nice.  It'll have about 1/2 carat in diamonds covering both hearts and diamond pave on both sides.  We were happy with the draft.
Tomorrow C and I are going to order my foldable travel scooter.  It comes with a lot of free add ons that I can surely use.  A safety flag, extra battery, cup holder,a wagon that goes in the back with safety lock, etc.  It'll be good to take on the plane when I travel to see my mom in S.C.  The scooter I have now is a Golden Companion 1 and is too big, bulky and a pain to take a part.  At least this one is light and foldable.
Well,I'm off to finish watching the game and try to find a pattern for a sweater that I started way last year!

Alot has been happening over the past week.  The foldable scooter finally came after numerous phone calls the C made.  We got the co-owner's cell number from him and called and finally got thtings squared away.   Although the underseat basket came broken the scooter coach that attaches to the back had a broken lock, most everything was ok.  The new basket came today along with the metal lock for the coach.  It actually the the plastice part that held the lock that was broken, but C says he can try to fix it and we'll see what's what with that. Undecided
I re-charged the battery yesterday and took it for a little test run in the apt.  On the lowest speed this scooter can move.  I think on the fastest speed it can go almost 4 mph.  C and I are going to take it out tomorrow for a test run outside.  We're having a heatwave at 40 degrees!! Cool
I also am in the process of opening an Etsy store for my crochet stuff!  I didn't realize how many cardigans I had crocheted over the past 2 years!  As soon as I weave in all the little yarn ends and take pics,I'll put the pics up on my store.  I called it Curlgirl64's Crochet Shop.
I'm also going to go to my mother's for a 3 day visit.  I'll take the scooter on the plane to see how it is.  She's comin up in the beginning of Feb. for my Grandmother's 97th birthday.  I'll fly back with her and then fly home.
So things are alittle hectic, but not crazy.
I'm due for a trim and henna and indigo desperately!!  Brfore I go to Mom's I'll do that.

Between C's gout attack and my mother coming in today from S.C,the impending snow storm, I figured why not get ready to open my Etsy store!!!! Roll Eyes
Today I'll take lots of pics and out them up and hopefully open shop today or tonight.  I've got boleros, cardigans, hats, neck warmers, fingerless gloves and will be adding more.  I can't believe I crocheted so much in a 2 year period!  Hoping the store will do well.  I decided to open it under Curlgirl64's Crochet Shop.   Let's see how it does.
