Good luck with the move.  I hate packing down knowing that it all has to be unpacked again.

Thanks,Drear!  The good thing is that when you're packing you can throw out stuff you don't need and not have to bring it with you.  I also have stuff in storage! Shocked  So another good thing is I can throw out some more stuff when I'm unpacking it! Roll Eyes  I just can't wait for the whole moving thing to be over...........it hasn't even started yet!!  Tomorrow will be the beginning of it and hopefully by tomorrow night;we'll be in our new place!!

Wow!  I am surprised you got on-line so quickly.  Unless you haven't moved the computer yet or are using a laptop.   Huh  I have never had a moving experience that took so short a time.  The last time we lived in a hotel for 2 wks. waiting for the house to be ready.  That was horrible.  I have never been so bored.  It was during semester break, and I think I went to a movie or shopping every day.  There was nothing else to do.  Everything was in storage.  I will tell you, the intense togetherness was almost too much.  Of course, we were not newlyweds.

Well,I coulda lost my sanity if I stayed there any longer!  lol  You should have seen my dog's face when I let down into the new place to explore!  I have never seen such a smile on a dog's face before!!!!!!!!!
The settling in is going ok.  Haven't upacked any boxes yet.  I want to steam clean all the cabinets in the kitchen before I put anything in.  I'm just that way, want it clean and sanitized.
We're off to do some grocery shopping this morning.  Sushi for lunch and dinner for 3 days straight is just about enough for me!

This is the one nice thing.  Well, that and this...

Glad all is going well for you.  I like sushi, but 3 days in a row is a little much.  Smiley

When we moved into our house, it was the worst house on the block.  We had a contractor doing major stuff for 2 wks before we moved in.  I walked into the kitchen with him, looked at the cabinets and said, "Someone has to clean those filthy cabinets, and it isn't going to be me."   I don't which of the guys did it, but they were clean when I came back a couple of days later.   Grin
