I hope everyone had a nice 4th of July!  There were alot of loud fireworks out this way,but all in all it was quieter than previous years.  In all  though I was living elsewhere and most of the people were crazy with fireworks.  They are illegal here, but alot of kids and adults are not paying attention to the law. Roll Eyes  So our first 4th of July here in our new place was quieter and pretty good in general.
I made salmon for us last night, mixed veggies and C made corn on the cob.  Too hot in the kitchen for me so I couldn't finish the corn.  All came out delish though!  Our first sit down dinner in our place after we located some of the pots and pans!!
I went for a manicure on the 2nd and had all my nails cut down Sad cuz I knew there would be dishes to do and shelves to put up and unpacking stuff.  So today we did install,or I should say C installed shelves in one closet in the dining area, put together shelves in my closet in my sewing/bird room and shelves in another closet that I'll use for my clothes and coats.  I donned my rubber gloves and washed pots and dishes and silverware.  It was very busy today.
Tomorrow we'll take a trip to a store that C found to see if we can get a Down Under Wonder Shower head,Space Bags and a weedwacker.  More boxes to unpack.  My sewing chair came day before yesterday so I'll put it together tomorrow.  The sewing table is due to come on the 8th.  I'll put my dress form together, too.
Slowly, but surely we're getting some normalcy and routine here.  I think I'll need an other dresser or Armoir for clothes and sewing supplies.  Got the ok for a washer,so we'll be planning for that!  Front loader is what I need and want.
I miss sewing and crocheting!!  Can't wait to get my stuff organize.  I'm expecting a new Indygo Junction pattern, too!
Ciao for now!

Busy busy busy is not the wrod here!  Last night C and I put together one of my scooters.  I unpacked a big box that has some of my sewing notions, fabric and yarn.  Will be unpacking another box or boxes today.  C installed a grab bar in the shower for me until my other stuff comes from the MS Society.  I'll need threshold ramps(6 of them!),a transfer shower bench, more grab bars, etc.
Hopefully we will put together my sewing chair today.  I really like putting things together by myself, but C wants to help so that's what we'll do....................the sewing table comes either today or tomorrow.  Shower caddies, shower head, etc.  Least not I forget A pair of LL hairsticks!!!!!  Can't wait to see them!

Lost the whole day to a killer headache! Sad  This one was a whopper.  Just starting to feel "human" after 12 hours of this headache.  Will write more later when I'm much better.

I am sorry to hear that you had such a bad headache.  Is it migraine, sinus, or tension?  I get sinus and tension headaches, these days they are mostly sinus.

I hope you have a quick recovery.  I get them occassionally too but mine are weather related so I know what causes them.

Thanks, ladies!  I think it's sinus and I have a feeling after 7 years or so of being migraine free, they're trying to come back! Sad Angry  They run (migraines) on both sides of the family,so there is no escaping it!
When I was teaching and practicing yoga, they were gone.  I now give myself Reiki and it helps.  I'm going to get back into my Pilates soon.  I was practicing 10 years before my MS affected my right leg bad enough to cause me to stop.  The Pilates Performer and The Malibou Pilates Chair I have will get me right back where I need to be though!

Ah,the weather has been really nice ,well since yesterday! Roll Eyes  Hubby and I went out early yesterday morning on a long trip to the hardware store in the next section of the city here.  It's about a 2 mile to 2 1/2 mile walk each way.  He's so good,we take the wheelchair and go!  Along the way there and coming back we would stop at different newsstands that had Lotto.  I was playing the scratch offs and either kept winning $4 here,$12 dollars there and so on.  Final result last night was a $8 win.  So we're not big winners, but had alot of fun!!!
We picked up a manual weed wacker of sorts for the front and sides of the house.  An over the door hook for my bathrobes and satin bathrobes.  It didn't fit my closet quite right, but it fit the bedroom door.  So guess whose jeans are hanging from it? Tongue Roll Eyes  Well I'll keep trying to find space organizers for my closet!
We then went to the sotre that I buy yarn and sewing notions from.  I got the brackets and tie back holders that I need to the curtains in the sewing room/bird room.  Since the room is a pale pink and there is burgundy in the curtains,I'm going to paint the brackets either pink or a beige to match the trim in the room.  Can't wait to get them up and hopefully my chirpy birds will be quiet until 8am!  They're covered at night, but the covers are not black and opaque so if they hear either me or my hubby get up,they're up!
I found my shoulder pads and foot bar to my Pilates machine yesterday!  Hooray!  I'll be setting that up today, either this afternoon or before dinner.  It's been over a year since I practiced Pilates.  Funny,I had been using my machine for about 10 years,5 or 6 times a week, religiously; now I've lost alot of muscle mass in that short of time. Sad Angry  Hopefully my MS won't keep me from getting back to where I was.  This right leg is more trouble than it's worth!!  It has gotten so much worse,I don't know how well I do on the machine. Undecided  I'll give it a try though!
Well, off to uncover the birds and make breakfast!  I think oatmeal with craisins is in order!!

Last night I opened my e-mails and was thrilled to see my first sale on Etsy!  Somebody liked my cap enough to buy it! Smiley  I was excited!  Now my spirits are lifted about my stuff for sale on Etsy.
Still unpacking and putting things away.  Does it ever end? Tongue  This morning I cleaned more kitchen cabinets, put some stuff away in them.  Now I'm off to unpack more clothes and put them away.
C and I finished the sewing table last night.  It's alot bigger than I thought!  The Pilates machine has to go in the bedroom and hopefully things won't be too crowded in the sewing room or the bedroom.  I do need another dresser or amoire.  I've gotten rid of so many clothes already, but another dresser would help.

More later!

There is light at the end of the tunnel!  You,like me will get through it.  One of the good things is that you get to throw out stuff you don't need or want or can donate it to the Good Will if you want to!

Actually, I am envious of you both.  I would like to move.  The water quality here isn't very good, I am not sure whether the neighborhood is improving or going downhill, and we are running out of room.   Smiley
