Heavenly Sword
Sep 16th, 2007 at 4:22pm

I saw a preview for this game at the movies last week and absolutely loved her long red hair flowing around the big screen while sword fighting.  (Because long loose hair and sword fighting go hand in hand!) Unfortunately it will only be released for Playstation 3, and we’re xbox players.

(Game is rated for teenagers—not for your little ones).

My wife and I have seen that on TV a few times and my wife wonders how she can do all that without accidently cutting her own hair off Shocked

I suppose in a video came it would not get cut but in real life you would have to be very, very talented to use a sword that way and not cut your hair with it flowing like that.

I don't play video games like I used to but if I did I would run out and buy it ASAP Cool

HEHE, one of my favorite webcomics did one on this game, I'll go find it. Actually, it was this strip that got me into the comic... but...

That was cute!  Smiley

I think a braided bun would be good for the times when one has to hack 'n slash. There's no chance to get tripped up on it or accidentally cut it off. But with hair that long, I don't even want to imagine how gianormous that bun would be.  Shocked

My wife and I were at Walmart the other day and happened to be in the electronics department.  I got curious so I went to the video game section to see if they had Heavenly Sword.

And they do but they want almost $60 for it Shocked

I can't believe how much video games and the systems to play them on cost these days Shocked

The last system I bought was the Sega Genesis and if I remember right some of the games were no more than $30 or $40 and now a person could get them on Ebay for a lot cheaper Roll Eyes

Maybe in 10 years or more I might think about buying a Playstation 2 and try Heavenly Sword but right now it is not in our budget.
