Shower Head Water Filters?
Oct 8th, 2007 at 3:36pm

I saw an infomercial a while back for a filtering shower head that uses a charcoal filter to filter out things like chlorene that can be found in city waters that can dry out your hair and do other numerous negatve things to your lovely locks.

I have been wanting to get a shower head water filter for some time now but it's difficult finding one! even the infomercial I orriginally saw no longer has one on their website.

Does anyone currently use a filtering shower head or know where to get one?

(I'd MUCH rather shower in filtered water than gross city water which irritates my eyes and makes me sneeze and probobly does god knows what to my hair and skin!)

If you dont have a filter you can try using filtered water from a pitcher. I have a britta water pitcher and I use it as a final rinse sometimes. You would need at least a gallon of water.I rinse some of the conditioner out and then use the filtered water. I have noticed a difference although its a pain to do it. The water is also cold, so that is good as a final rinse too.
