hello. here's my story.

Hi.  Right now I have light blonde kinda curly hair to the middle of my back.  I decided to start posting on this site because I want to change my hair habits and grow my hair to my elbows.  I naturally have dark brown hair and about 5 years ago I started dying it blonde and after that my hair would not grow and looked really unhealthy.  Well, it was obviously growing because I had to dye my roots every couple months so i guess the ends were breaking off so my hair wasnt getting any longer.  anyways, I know the best thing to do is to just go back to dark brown hair and i want to but i just can't. im so used to being blonde now and it looks natural because all my body hair is blonde and my eyes are blue.   so instead i have changed my bad hair habits.  I switched my shampoo and conditioner from suave to Tresseme or Alberto V05 because they have Biotin in them.  I was taking Biotin pills for a while but I dont think they make a difference so I stopped.  I use a leave in conditioner.  I completely stopped blow drying my hair.  I only flat- iron or curl my hair for special occasions ( which is rare).  and most important i stopped dying my hair with the permanent color, i switched to a demi color which isnt harmful to hair or i just get highlights.  IT has made such a difference in my hair.  It is full and thick and getting long now. so i'm happy and i'm gonna keep going.

monica!
