No shampoo method
Dec 4th, 2007 at 3:23pm

I just found this site (through another forum).  I haven't read through the directions carefully, but will do so soon.  Have any of you heard of this method before?  More interestingly, has anyone tried this method??  Given what I've learned about hair care here at LL, it seems logical for the use of baking soda to work.

I have heard of this method, but not used it myself.  I have found that just rinsing my hair works very well at freshening the look of my hair.  But then I can easily go a week without washing during the winter.

I know of a girl who does this.  She mentioned that by using baking soda, her tailbone length hair no longer gets tangled after washing.  However beyond that, I never knew anything else about it.

Thanks for posting the link Trisha.  That site's very interesting and informative.

That is a great site--thanks for posting!

I'm wondering if I could mix up bottles to leave in the shower of the baking soda and ACV rinse.  The part about those routines that I hate is all the extra work when all I want to do is get in the shower.

I don't know why you couldn't, Valerie.  There's really nothing in those simplest of ingredients that would spoil.  I say give it a whirl.   Smiley
