Hair:  No-wash day #2.  Hair is again put up in a bun of sorts.  You know, you can't even call it a bun...  I twist what I can of the length, such as it is, into a knot and secure it with a medium claw clip.  That's it--I have a knot, not a bun!   Grin   Hmm...does that make me a knothead?!  LOL   Anyway, tomorrow will be wash day.

Other:  Final exams week here at the university continues; I've been busy but not overwhelmed.  It's nice to have something to do for a change.   Tongue  The other part of the end-of-semester activities, however, comes next:  instructor evaluations.  UGH.   Sad  Those will probably start showing up next week by the boatload...

The hummers seem happy to have their normal nectar in the feeders, although the cooler than normal temperatures and wet weather seems to be limiting their activity.

Hair:  My hair no longer likes Tre Semme shampoo and conditioner.  Pity, since I have almost-full bottles of both in my bathroom closet.   Embarrassed  That's all right; my daughter still uses Tre Semme, so she can use it during her visits.  Anyway, I went back to Pantene   Cool  but not the Brunette Expressions line.  This time I chose the Classic Clean line.  So far I like it very much.  Hair is smooth, shiny, and less prone to tangling.

Other:  Well, we survived another finals week, although it was a close call.  The test scoring machine broke Thursday at high noon.   Shocked  Luckily the majority of tests given on bubble sheets had been processed by then, and the repair tech arrived early Friday morning to repair the machine.  I had around a dozen tests to grade, but it took me only about half an hour to scan them.  Although now the instructor evaluations are arriving to be scanned.  I already have three paper boxes full of evals to process and expect to get 2-3 more by next week.   Tongue  *sigh*  I'll just scan them the same way one eats an elephant...one bite at a time.

Nyah, we say it here in Texas too.  Well, okay, I don't hear that many texans SAY it, but I've definitely heard it and I've never lived anywhere else inside the states.

Outside the states...well, outside the states I wouldn't say it because you would probably be talking to someone who actually eats elephant!

I'm from the East and I've never heard that either.

Hair:  Still liking Pantene's Classic Clean s+c; I think I have a new favorite.   Smiley

Other:  I scored THREE BOXES of instructor evaluations today.  ALL 3 boxes...!!!
Tongue  Needless to say, I'm pooped.  I haven't received any other evals, but I know they're coming.
Hubby has a lodge meeting tonight, so Yours Truly has to drive stepson to work.  I'm thankful he has a job, but I'll be so glad when he gets his car fixed.   Angry  Although he IS giving us gas money now, YAY.   Wink
I got a mother's day card from my daughter in yesterday's mail.  It's so lurv-erly--I wish you all could see it!!  She's such a sweetie.   Kiss

Yes, it really is (nice getting a card in the mail)!   Smiley  I'm usually one of the first on the let's-use-less-paper bandwagon, and use email whenever possible.  But there's something wonderfully heartwarming about receiving a paper card in the post.

Hair:  I'm enjoying the Pantene Classic Clean so much I've been using it every day.  No second-day hair for me this week, baby!  I don't know that I'll keep up this every day washing, but it's a nice change for a bit.

Weighty Matters:  Finally starting to walk on the treadmill again.  Food intake is okay but could be better.  Haven't weighed in a while, but clothes still feel good.

Wow, you can actually use Classic Clean every day? I've never been able to since the opaque Pantene shampoos leave a dreadful waxy residue on my hair.  Sad  I have to stick to the clear formulas. How is the conditioner working for you? Is it enough? Just curious...

Today was the first day I didn't use the Classic Clean (since Monday).  I slept well (or I *think* I did) but I woke up feeling tired and just couldn't face the full-on hair thing in the shower.  I put my hair up in a "bun", using a medium claw clip and it looked fine at home, but...  Around 11 I took a bathroom break, checked my reflection in the mirror and thought, "Oh my God, why didn't somebody tell me my hair looked this BAD?!"   Shocked  There were strays everywhere coming loose from the clip.  Argh...  I got back to my office and kept trying to put my hair back up in a knot-bun, but it simply would not cooperate.  So I just left it down, and it really doesn't look bad at all.  It's only a teensy bit greasy near the crown, but the rest looks fine.

Angel, I'll keep an eye on the condition of my hair, i.e. being weighed down, etc.  But, so far, both the shampoo and conditioner are working all right.  And yes, for now, the conditioner seems to be enough for my hair.  Of course I've only been using it, what?  Not quite one week.  Things may change within the next couple of weeks.   Huh

INDEED!!!   Cool

A student worker is covering the front while I take a break for a while.  Things have been very quiet (knock on wood); let's hope they stay that way.
