Gas prices
Jul 17th, 2008 at 3:03pm

I am curious, how much are the gas prices in your city, town or area?

Right now they are $4.09 a gallon for regular unleaded and $4.16 for premium in our town Shocked  I would not be surprised to see it go up to $5 before the end of the year Tongue

This thread will be interesting to see in a few years (assuming the forum will still be going then).

Regular where I am is $4.19/ gallon. Plus is about $4.30/ gallon. Many gas stations have stopped selling premium, as people weren't buying it.

Highest I've seen here is $4:99 for premium.  But my dad says he doesn't care how high prices go as long as natural gas prices keep going up.  Because as long as NG prices go up, our natural gas stock goes up and that compensates for the high prices.

Around here, reg is about 4.25 to 4.50 depending on station (name brand versus cheap) and depending on what side town you buy on.  Gas prices in my area have predicted to go as high as 5.00 by summers end and 6.00 - 7.00 by years end.  We'll see.

Since I don't drive a car anymore, I don't notice the prices as much.  However, I do bike past 2 stations that post 3.97 ad 3.99 for regular.

I got gas today and it went up to $4.19 which is the average and so far the lowest I have seen is $4.12 now.

I do not pay attention to the diesel but I suppose I would if I drove a vehicle with a diesel engine.

I have not really noticed if there are less vechicles on the highways and roads but I have noticed more bicycle riders which could be a combination of the high gas prices and the nice weather during the summer Undecided

$3.82.

I only get 11mpg, so I drive as little as possible. I have one car that only gets 4mpg and I don't use it at all.

On our vacation to Missouri, we noticed that gas prices were significantly less there than in Minnesota and Iowa.  MN is typically below the national average, so MO must have some of the lowest around.

I'm officially 3 months without a car.  Hadn't planned on it being this long, but it has saved us a lot in gas money!
