It's good that Don and his family stood up to him.  Perhaps now he'll stop saying silly things.

I am quite impressed myself.  Thought we know Al will not aplogies at least he will stop his insults.

Dear Hiar Diary,

Don and I are all moved in!  Now the task of getting all our stuff put away and done is on.  It's a really nice place  and we should have everything together by the weekend.  Right now I do not have interent and am just catching the wave from another computer in the building.  I should have my own internet connection by next week.

Washed my hair lastnight and did an ACV rinse.  I had a nice bath in my new bathroom Smiley

Cheers! Smiley

Dear Hair Dairy,

I finnaly got my interent conection back! Smiley  Now its surf city!  Be getting the place set up as best as I can.  Still need to rearange things a bit.  The kitchen and washroom are very nice.  I love the tiles. Smiley  Bedroom is big and airy.  Livingroom is cosy...we need a sofa as Don's was to big Tongue  They have nice ones at Ikea but...Don hates Ikea with a passion! I believe this has something to do with my ex.

Anywho, hairs been doing alright.  I have been shedding alot but I put it down as stress. We went on a trip to 6 Nations Reserve on the weekend and I got some all natural native made shampoo and conditioner.  This stuff is lovely and biodegradable too! Smiley Shocked)

Been having nightmares about my ex...Don bought me a dream cather at the Reserve, such a sweetheart Smiley

Anyway I am off! Smiley

I don't blame him! I've been boycotting them ever since they ran a goth-bashing ad a few years ago. Angry It's all cheap, plastic crap anyway. Don't waste your money.

*nods* Shortly before my ex-husband and I separated, I would have recurring nightmares that he was chasing me and trying to kill me. Thankfully, they stopped after we split up.

I thought their kitchen appliances were good for the price and I was going to brace myself for their crap parking facility in Tilst near Århus and get hub to give me a ride but now you're giving me second thoughts.  Their furniture was fine in the 80s for what you paid for and functional for most families but I'm no longer impressed with their ever expanding ranges but lowered quality.

As far as I know Ikea uses prisoners to make there furniture in the corrections programs in Sweden.  That aside, the only thing they make good anymore is still the Pong chairs.  Still I like there lamps and stuffed toys... as for goth bashing they can kiss my @$%!

Dear Hair Dairy,

Did my speical oil mix and left it in lastnight.  I will wash it out later.  Been picking through stuff while unpacking.  Its hard to go throught those old memories... Tongue  I threw out alot of stuff my ex gave me.  Man that marraige was a waste time.  Gaaah...just having a retrospective moment. Tongue

I noticed the biotin kicking in as my body hair is growing really fast, got 5 o'clock shadow going here on my legs! Grin  Today is facal day!  I found my face steamer and my parafin wax.  Gave Don a pedi the other night.  He loved it.  I used one of those pedi eggs to get off the callaus and followed with a foot massage.  Being a 250lb guy his feet see alot of wear and tear.  He loved it btw Wink

Today is fire alarm testing day at my building Sad  They have been at it for 3 hours now...Still I like the idea that these things are done.  God forbid we get a fire at least the alarms are working.  We have a smoke detector and carbon dioxide detector as well.  This is a good place, we have 24 hour securty and a good super as well.

Anyway I am off! Smiley

It's always something like that. Needing to escape, but not being able to for some reason. Dreams can be excellent metaphors for real life situations.
In mine, I was always trying to run away from my ex, who was chasing after me with murderous intent. But I could never run as fast as I was capable of, and would end up having to dodge him around corners and whatnot. Outwit him since I couldn't outrun him. But he always managed to find me.

Amen, sister. Many moons ago, I used to buy their candles on occasion since they sold bags of 500 tealights for like $5 or something ridiculous. And their pillar and taper candles were dripless and a total bargain. But their one and only location in town is rather out of the way from where I live...and their ad in 2007 was the last straw. I refuse to shop there at all now. The fact that my ex-husband also liked their crap was just one more reason to avoid them. Wink

Grin Pedicures are practically an initiation ritual for the guys that I date. Grin Their toenails are usually a fright for sore eyes until Angel gets ahold of them. After a little clipping, filing and laquering, they look fab. Grin Most guys have been really into it.

Dear Hair Diary,

Gave my hair a good S&D yesterday while Don and I were waiting for calls in the truck.  Was thinking of doing a heat cap treatment today....need to find my heat cap! lol!  It taking awhile for me to settle into our new place.  This is normal for me.  I have moved twice in four months is very stressful but I will prevail.

Anyway I am off! Smiley

Dear Hair diary,

Lastnight we had a cash call to Nigara falls.  We dropped off the car and went site seeing Smiley

...
They light up the falls with pretty coloured lights! It was so magical and romantic Cool  This is a pic of the American side taken from the Canadian side.

Here's me haming it up large with a mounit suit!
...

We had a great time.  This will add to my book of wonderful memories with Don....
