I also learned how to do threading!  I watched a tutorial on youtube and gave it a go.  I liked it alot and the best part is my upper lip did not swell up like it did when I use to wax it!  It also great for getting those fuzzies the wax always misses.  So now I am nice a smooth. Smiley

I didn't know you could do your own threading!  I've had my eyebrows waxed and I tweeze, but I have always wondered about having threading done.  You inspired me to look on YouTube myself, and I tried it out.  I need to practice more, but I got it to work!

Way to go girl! Smiley

Dear Hair Dairy,

Been quite hot today!  It's 85 right now and its 11:00 pm... Tongue  I got my Jason condtioner and did a clarify today.  Hair is soft but feels a little dry even thought I put a dab of Ojon on the ends.  I must be in need of a coconut heatcap treatment. Split ends are driving me nuts.  I think I should go for a trim, not that I want to but then again...

I got a new cell phone!  Yes a cute little Telus Smiley  I decked it out with a new cover (pink and which tiger stripes) and a japanese flower phone charm.  My last phone was Dons old one and it took a swim Roll Eyes  Thinking of swimming I got a new purple bikini! It hot tub time! Cool  Still have to post the henna pics... here the one of my hand with the paste on.

...

I also did my feet and plan to do my boobs! Smiley

Anyway I am off to bed:)

Hi, Lisa!!!  I'm so glad you mentioned threading!!  I went to a lady here in AZ a while back so I've experienced having it done.  Prior to that I waxed.  Now, with all of my traveling-especially back and forth to Michigan I am in need but out of time.  Then, today as I'm trying to catch up on everybody's journals I find the answer here!!!  I'm going to find the youtube instructions and try it.  Thank you!!!

Love the henna.  I bought some stuff to do glitter tattoos since I didn't know if henna was OK to do while someone is receiving chemo.  My mom loved the mehandi I did for her last summer.  She's not well enough yet for me to try out the glitter tattoos so I'll just have to try them out on hubby and myself!

Funny that you mention threading!  I read somewhere or was told that the people who are "qualified" to do treading are trained in India!  There are a few places here that advertise threading.  They all are most definately not trained in India!!  Have either of you ladies heard this?  Just curious.................

Yeah, I just went on YouTube and typed in "eyebrow threading how to" and watched the first two videos that came up.  They both showed the same method.  It was very simple!

Dear Hair Dairy,

I gave myself a little trim yesterday and my hair feels alot better, killed alot of split ends too.  Did a CO of which my hair loves as of late.  Its been so dry.

Gah!  The mosquitos have attacked!!!  We went for a walk in the park yesterday and we both got chewed.  The worst bites are on my face right buy my right eye.  I been using good ole calamine lotion and resemble a pink potka dotted nut! lol!!
...
Anyway I am off to do some house work.
