God, do I know what you mean. Most goth forums are that way too. It's sad that people use these places to exchange flames instead of ideas. They make their little corner of the internet an unsafe and unpleasant place to be.

Yeah and when people come along who want to learn from there site they get all huffy and act holier then thou and will not help. IMO they can shove it! Angry

I'm jealous!  I looooove storms.  Texas has some great thunderstorms and I am sure looking forward to the storm season.

Well we had a major down pour!  Shocked The lights went out shortly after my post. But they came back on in 15 mins.  I had my candles going and all.  The thunder sounded like we were being shelled!!  The lighting was wild! Shocked Mother Nature put on a great show Smiley

Dear Hair Diary,

I was so humid today and still is.  If It weren't for the A/C in the truck I would have died! Tongue   I went to the Library today to find it closed on Mondays Undecided  I might try the trek tomorrow if its not to hot.

Wore my hair in a bun today and used mineral makeup.  I like the maybelline one, I find it stays put in this weather.  I did a bit of a Geisha look, I placed deep pink eyesadow in the outer corner of my eyes and line the top with black liquid liner.  I filled in my brows as usual then add some of the same pink eyeshadow under them.  I used a nice pink blush and then a light fushia one on my cheeks to give them more demention.  Topped off with a berry red lipstick! Smiley  Dons daughter was like..wait you have pink eyebrows..?  Oh Cool.

Both Don and I have been fighting off people hitting on us. Strange for two old foogies! LOL!! Grin  Some girl was being a little to nice to Don the other night and I went over and huged him and she gave up.....  Then today I went into a gas station to use the washroom.  I went in frist and got the key and Don came in after me.  Well, after I came out of the Jon, Don was standing there smoking a f*g and grinning evily.  he told me that after I walked out he came in and heard the Gas attendent say something rude about me.  Don turned around and said Hey that's my girlfriend your talking about!  He then told to shut up in his own language of which was Tamil... Shocked Whoa!  Never a dull moment here!

Anyway I am off! Smiley

ROFLMAO!!!!   Grin  I think you mean "dimension."  Smiley  *wipes tears from eyes*  I'm sorry, I'm honestly not mocking you!  It's just that it's so late for me to be up and I'm so tired I'm a little punch-drunk!  I had this image of what "demented" cheeks must look like and it just tickled me!

If my face ever clears up, I might try Maybelline's mineral make-up.  I'm not too happy with MF.  I'd love to see that make-up look.

Michelle, I wish you hadn't pointed that out, I can't stop laughing now and I'm not mocking either.  I think what you both wrote is really cute. Grin Smiley

Michelle - Hahahhahha!!! it is very funny! Grin  Even when I see it! lol! I am pleased to give you a good tickle!

Drear - It is a good idea to let your face clear up before using it as its a little heavy and the removal takes a little longer as its water proof. I'll have Don take a pic of me when I do it again.  In the meantime here is the pic I copied.
...
I did not do the white face and I filled in the lips more.

La diosa - I use the MM as a foundation and do not powder over it.  Maybelline and Physicians Formula Mineral wear are my favs Smiley

Ooh, it sounds really pretty.  I never get very creative with my makeup; I just don't know what to do with it.  I've never been much more than a mascara and a little bit of eyeshadow kind of girl.  I have some Physician's Formula powder too that I use for more dressy occasions when I want some coverage.  I like it.  It's very easy to apply and doesn't feel all heavy and cakey like liquid foundation can.

Thanks hun Smiley  I am a big makeup fan.  I use to do peoples makeup when I was a beauty advisor for Shoppers Drug Mart ages ago.  There's a really good book out there that can help with makeup application its called Making Faces by Kevin Aucoin.  Of all the books I have on the subject his was the best!  His books helped me with customers of all colors , ages and skin types.  One day I hope to get a set of real geisha makeup. Kevin Aucoin's book is an excellent make up book-my favorite, too!!!

Lisa-I ordered a geisha set of makeup from Japan.  It made my skin so iritated I got a rash all over my face and it was red and super bumpy.  I wound up wearing Starlight white powder instead of foundation or the wax and used the traditional red and black grease and pink blush.  I was really bummed!!!  Good luck!

Dear Hair Dairy,

The other day I gave myself a Indian herbal hair treatment, then did my frist CWC.  Now I think I did the CWC right...I washed with the C then washed with the W then just C my ends. My hair turned out great!  Nice and soft and full.

Went on a shopping spree yesterday!  I got Dove Pro-age body cream oil for a buck!  This stuff is really good!  I am very fussy about skin creams being spoiled working at SDM.  The Dove was great.  Got my lips glosses from Arlene and some Hello Kitty glosses too.  Got some jumbo snap clips for my hair, they work well.  I got a huge Jade plant form a Korean flower shop for 9 bucks!  Good deal! Smiley

It been so humid!  My house plants are growing wild!  I don't mind the watering and cleaning but...we've been hearing drums at night! LOL!!!! Grin

Been having some female problems so I got some Replends...it seems to be working... oh the joys of getting old.. Tongue Roll Eyes

Was going to go out on the truck with Don today but I have too much house work to do! Tongue  Not to worry, were doing the Sunday thing, Onigiri and treats! Smiley  Don's sister in law Lindsay, Lances wife, is due at the end of the month! Smiley  We all cannot wait to see her new little girl!  I love new borns!  And she is one of the few girls in the family as the Clements's all have boys so this is a big event! Smiley

Oh crap.... Don's mother is coming up from the states in two weeks...I am not thrilled to meet her in the least,  His Father, step mother, brother Lance and kids love me but....I do not know what she is going to think.  She asked about me and Don said Mum I love her. She hated his late wife with a passion.  Now her partner, Vicki, has defended me when she has said things about me. (yep Don's mother is a lesbain)  Still after 20 years of bullshit from Colin's mother I do not need any crap from Linda and I told Don if she starts you can forget getting married! He said she can go to hell!   Linda really did not bring up Don and his brothers.  Her old partner, Lynn, who I adore did and she's on my side, which is good. So, I will be nice to her but...if she starts crap Don know I will hand it right back!  (Christ, like I need this BS)  Well she only comes once a year, so as Lance says she will be gone!! Smiley...okay my whinning us over.. Tongue

Anyway I am off to se the wizard!! Smiley
