Re: Don's mother, just relax and be yourself. And stay polite, of course. Don't go into meeting her with preconceived notions or assume she'll be anything like your ex's mother. She's a different person, and it's not fair to judge her before you even meet her. You never know...you might really like each other. Roll Eyes

More drums to come as I just bought more plants!

Dear Hair Diary,

Man its been hot! Went out on the truck with Don yesterday, thank the lord for the a/c. Did some shopping inbetween calls and got a peace lily plant at Walmart. I have it in the washroom and it looks so good!

We stopped at an Indian supermarket and I got some powdered shikakai and some Aritha, the Aritha is a nautral soaping plant that is used as a shampoo. I am dieing to try it!

It so hard not to iover wash my hair in this weather. I have been wetting it down and putting some conditoner on the ends then rinseing. Got a nasty burn on my finger cooking last night Sad

Thankfully I had some EA 8 hour creme to put on it. I also burned my boob with the kettle the other day...hmmmm must stay away from hot objects! Tongue

Anyway we are off to Sanko to get some more Japanese rice and stuff.

Oh this is funny------> I have alot of plants in my two windows and the person on my left has started to compete with me. For the last three days she been adding plants to her window. A afircan violet, a aloe vera and now a jade. hehehe the heat is on! lol!!!

Dear Hair Diary,

Yesterday we went to Sanko for our once a month splurge! Cheesy

We got rice, onigiri flavoring, insence, Japanese mayo!, candies and I got a cute cell phone charm! Its a flower made of kimono clothe and has a cute little bell on it.

Don got himslef some new chopsticks too. And we tried a japanese sports drink called Pocari Sweat. It was good!

Man it was so hot lastnight I had to shut off my laptop so it could cool down. We did not sleep much either... Undecided

Today I plan to sit in my bathtub and dream of Fall! lol! I need to set up my phone so I can email all the pics I've been taking to myself then I can post them. I have lots!

Houseplants are doing good in the heat exprect my rosemary which is turning brown Embarrassed

. I miss my bonsai Cry

Waaaah!!

Dear Hair Diary,

Hairs nice and curly and feeling good. The weather has cooled off, thank god! Don needs a hair cut. His hair grows sooo fast and so does his nails. Waaaaaah!!! lol!!! but being Metro he's always keeping himself groomed. He will cut his hair once more this year then let it grow till spring along with a full beard. In which case he will look like a wino!! Grin

He does it to keep warm as he works outside.

Got some lavender oil and put on my burned boob. My bed now smells lovley! Don loves lavender and even requested some on his pillow.

The burn on my finger is getting better. What I think is neat about Don is he likes foral scents. When we get out incense at Sanko, I get cedarwood and yuzu (citrus) He will get Lotus and Jasmin.

The heat has me watering my houseplants more. The ones outside the windows dry faster. I mist them three times a day.

sigh---- Dons brother Lance and his longtime girlfriend have spilt up... Cry

She is due next month too Cry

This makes me so sad. Don gave Lance a lecture big time. This is what happened in a nut shell. A mutual friend of Lance and Lynsay was dumped by her bf and went on a man hunt....she had even tried for Don but I stopped it. Angry

(this person is 20 yrs old) Well she wanted Lance and he being a moron, said somethings and sent pictures etc. now he and Lynsay are done. $%%^&! guy! They also have a three year old son as well. I just cannot beileve some people! Angry

The young girl in question is all upset and rightly so! Don sent her a message calling her the biggist Ho in the world.

Grrrrr......!!

Anyway I am off!
