What a neat picture of all of you!  Looks like you had a great time.  Except for for the grabber.   Tongue  What a tool!

La Diosa: Good eye, chica. Thanx, and it's a couple of inches shy.

Curlgirl64: Thanx!

MichelleR: Grin My sentiments exactly.

Hair: Same routine as yesterday, but without the vinegar rinse. My hair definitely absorbs ELOO better than EVOO, but it's still a bit heavy. What impresses me most is the softness. Just when I thought these spiderweb strands couldn't get any smoother... That's not bragging or anything; I'm just pleased with the unexpected difference in texture. Particularly at the ends, which are normally pretty dry.

Etc.: Had our carpets steam cleaned again this morning, so I went shopping around town to keep myself off of them. Returned home with the realization that I should take a sewing class one of these days. Roll Eyes

The band is getting together tomorrow night, and my father plans to smack the potential new guitarist around a bit with his prowess. Roll Eyes
I, however, will be cruising around town with my friend T who's coming down for a visit. We're catching the Olympique Lyonnais/Liverpool match over lunch at a British pub. After that, we'll play it by ear... most likely end up cracking wise in a late night coffeehouse somewhere.

Cheers!

Goodness!
When I compare your Halloween pics with the one you posted in the pictures section, that must have been a TON of work! Great costume. I love how the picture goes from scary death-like to kinda frilly cutesy.

KNS: Thanx. The hair was more trouble than it was worth, but next year should be kinder since there are no plans to do the haunted house again.

Hair: CWC + the usual leave-in's. ELOO has become one of said "usual leave-in's" now. It's still a bit heavy, but I like the slip that it provides and the way it seems to seal in moisture without getting gummy, as my serum did.

Not sure what sort of style I'll attempt when my hair finally dries, though I'm considering a flipped rope braid.

Yesterday's routine was much the same and the style was a flipped ponytail.

Etc.: It appears I'm not the only Liverpool FC supporter in CA, or even in my county, or even the only female of the type. Wink Several blokes showed up at Shakespeare's for the match yesterday, and our server (a woman) had on a bright red Liverpool jacket. Like them, I cheered when the team scored their only goal of the game and was disappointed at the last minute tie with Lyon, though I didn't get nearly as animated about it as some. Roll Eyes

My friend T, the typically ardent sports fan, was uncharacteristically indifferent and bided his time stealing from my plate of fish & chips, and teasing me for not being a real soccer fan. ... He spent much of the day on my nerves, unfortunately.
After the game, we explored one of the city's famous historical districts, including the most actively haunted location in the US...which was closed that day. But we did get to visit the cemetery.
Then, it was off to a coffeehouse on the coast where we stayed (for ćons!) to watch the world series. Tongue That time, it was my turn to be aloof. I went through 2 drinks and started texting people randomly out of pure boredom.
At the end of the evening, we got lottery tickets and he (finally) dropped me off at home.

Today, I'm free to do whatever, which so far has been a whole lot of nothing. Roll Eyes

Hair: Same ol', same ol'. CWC + Suave leave-in + ELOO. Yesterday, my hair stayed down, held back with a feather headband at one point...until I decided that I don't care for it so much. Undecided After that, it was coiled and pinned into a bun, which came in handy for working out.

Etc.: My sister has decided to become my new exercise buddy. She has quite the arsenal of exercise videos and we worked out to one last night. It was fun even if not very challenging.

This morning, I woke up at the crack of dawn and couldn't get back to sleep so I went out for a power walk. It was cold, gray and kind of foggy outside - not a trace of sunlight. Perfect conditions.
No idea what I'll do with the rest of the day, but my grandfather is visiting from WA, so that might mean an outing. Or it might not.

Hair: An early morning breakfast with the family (all but my sis) forced me to go out in public before I'd had a good shower Tongue so I combed some body powder through my roots and pulled the length back into the dreaded jr. high scrunchie loop ponytail things. Faux pas, I know. I may have tried something different had I more than 2 seconds to pull myself together. So I get the bad hair award this morning. Embarrassed It's happened before.

It was past noon before I was able to wash it, so I went ahead and just clarified today. Washed twice with Herbal Essences Drama Clean, with an ACV rinse in between, then conditioned with Herbal Essences Hello Hydration. Suave Kids conditioning spray was my only leave-in.
How I wish that Herbal Essences didn't burn the crap out of my neck. Undecided I'd use it much more often then.

Style today will be a single braid as it always is on clarifying days. No silly loop bun things, I promise. Tongue

Etc.: Broke down and bought 2 new shirts yesterday. What a retail tramp I am. Embarrassed If only I had a job to wear them to. *sigh* This whole living on the dole arrangement rather blows.

Tomorrow morning, I'm off to Disneyland with my "haunted house" relatives. Should help take my mind off of the finances for a bit. Smiley

I agree with you on Herbal Essences. Hair is so much happier now that I've gotten away from that stuff.  Sad

When you comb powder through your hair, is it still visible afterwards? I've thought about trying that on days when I short on time, but I've always worried about it being visible on my hair afterwards and end up having to shampoo it out.

Hope you had fun at DisneyLand! I haven't been there  since I was a wee one. Good luck on your job search, too!  Smiley

KNS: Hey, thanx! Powder isn't terribly visible if you comb or brush it through your hair enough, but it can show at your hairline if you don't brush it off. Your hair is, however, noticeably lighter in colour because of the powder.
Also, I should probably warn you that it doesn't work very well. It's something to do when you're extremely short on time (ie. dashing out the door that very minute) and won't be out very long. It is by no means a substitute for washing.

Hair: CWC + the usual leave-in's. I think the sunblock from yesterday got washed out of it...at least, I hope it did. At this moment, it's not yet dry, but almost. It will probably go into a bun or a single braid after that.

Yesterday, I did another crazy, twisted updo for Disneyland and got a few compliments on it. Smiley My aunt & cousin thought it was really cute and wondered how it was done and how long it took to get it that way. Grin I'm not one to spend hours fussing over my hair, so it was pretty flattering. So that particular style looks like a keeper, and I've learned that pinning ribbons into it is fun too.

Etc.: Disneyland was cool (duh), even if we were only there for a couple of hours. We went on rides that usually have insanely long lines (including the Haunted Mansion in holiday mode Wink) and had lunch at the Mimi's Café across the street. My aunt may have pix up soon, so I may snag a few.

Speaking of pix, I just got this one from the Nightmare Before Christmas event that I attended last month in LA:
...
Clockwise, that's yours truly with friends H and T in front of the curling hill/pumpkin patch prop from the movie. RIP the bracelet I was wearing - only after I got home did I remember that I'd left it in a restroom. Sad

Nice Pic, Angel.  I'm happy to see a pic of T too.  Too bad you guy's aren't more than just friends, not only is he sweet to you, but he looks like a cutie! Wink  However, if nothing else it's good that you have such a great friend.

Side note...I have an overwhelming feeling to see you in bright pink or something. Grin  I know, I know, you're a goth... although, your top is nice, btw. Smiley

Curlgirl64: Thanks. Smiley

MichelleR: Merci. One of these days, I'll replace it.

La Diosa: Danke. T was flattered by your comments. Grin He's a good dude.
Side note: lol I actually do own a pink & black striped shirt. I'll think of you next time I wear it. Grin

Melusine: Muchos gracias. Wow...no one's ever told me that before! Shocked I never have tried modeling.

Hair: CWC + the usual leave-ins. Right now I'm trying to decide on a style for the day. I'm leaning toward a flipped ponytail.

Exhausted the bottle of Suave Refreshing Waterfall Mist conditioner, rinsed it out, stripped its label and refilled it with a combination of Herbal Essences Hello Hydration and Pantene Moisture Renewal conditioners.
Before long, I'll have to make a new shampoo blend as well.

Etc.: Spent most of the morning mixing up new bodywash & facewash blends in plain, label-less bottles as well.

Whole lotta nothin' going on today...obviously. If my mother wasn't home with me, I'd make a smoothie, do laundry and pull out my bass guitar and tune it, but I avoid doing most things while she's around. In fact, I try to make myself as scarce as possible. It's better that way. Don't ask.

Anyway, I'm off to do a little job searching. Peace!
