Good luck with your decision! Cheesy  It's exciting to play with and try new things with your hair.  And the coolest thing is that no matter what we do to it, eventually it always grows back. Smiley

I don't think my family has ever seen me with hair that short...  Nope, the last time I had it that short would have been in, gosh--8th grade?  9th grade?

Yes, I realize I'm quoting myself; but I have to call idiot where idiot is due.   Smiley  My family has indeed seen me with hair that short... try 6 years ago after chemo?  Sheesh, how could I have forgotten THAT?!   Grin

Good luck with the hair cut.  If short hair feels right for you it's right.  I hope you like the result of the cut even if it takes a little while to get used to a hair cut.

I'm not laughing at the chemo part but at the Quote:
I have to call idiot where idiot is due
part. Grin

I'm hating both the food part (not the food, just what it can do to one's shape) and the company or rather the way the company sometimes behaves. Roll Eyes

Well, isn't it great that it's such a distant memory, that it's over, and that you can forget about it?  You beat it! Smiley  (((hugs)))

Hair  Thanks girls!  It is nice to forget every now and then.   Smiley

Hair is short (but not the shortest I've ever had it); the longest layer in the back is chin length.  I plan on taking photos this weekend and will post next week.  I know I've said this before, but my god that woman has GREAT hands.  I'd pay $20 just to have her wash my hair every now and then!!   Grin  Anyway, reaction so far has been positive.  My daughter told me I looked like a little girl!  I'm happy with it, which is all that matters.

Other  What I'm mentally gearing up for in the near future:
Next week is final exams, so my test scoring machine will get a work out.
I need to figure out what to bring for our Xmas luncheon on the 22nd... (or come up w/a good excuse not to attend!).
I need to bake a pan of brownies for my boss' Xmas present.
I need to package up the Xmas present(s) for my student worker.
I need to figure out what to give 3 of my coworkers (who always give me something).

Yep, that's me in all my splendor.   Cool  Still loving the cut.

It's final exam week here at the university, so I'm getting a work out.  Next Tuesday is our annual office Christmas luncheon but I honestly don't know if I'll attend.  I can't or won't eat 99% of the starchy, sugary food that others will most likely bring.  I could bring my own food; I've done that before and nobody has a problem with it.  But I don't know.  It's always noisy and crowded, two items on my "dislike" list.  Next Wednesday is our last working day.  The secretary has asked off for that day so Yours Truly will be filling in out front (rats).

Very flattering and it looks like you have at least a few styling options.  I like your glasses too.  They appear to be similar to mine but more rounded at the bottom edges which I wish mine were too.

Aw, thanks for the sweet compliments, gang!  It makes me so happy that y'all still accept me, even with short hair.
