Can you condition too much?
Jul 7th, 2003 at 12:56am

I was wondering if you can condition too much.  I wash my hair about twice a week and condition fairly heavy each time, but I only do the conditioning on mid length to ends, heavy on the ends.  So I was wondering, Could this be hurting my ends?
  Thanks

It's not likely you are hurting your ends, unless you are using a conditioner that has something in it to which your hair does not react well (many people have problems with silicones).  As long as you are using conditioner that is right for your hair, you're more likely to cause damage by under-conditioning rather than over-conditioning.
