Hi, Zaphyre!

I am the author of this story. Thank you for reading. I invite you to read the sequel when you finish.

Part of the story is Kayla bringing the beautiful Kirby Ann out of her shell and shine. The fact that Kirby Ann sings before a crowd later in the novel is a success of Kayla helping her best friend. In the beginning of the novel, Kirby Ann didn't want to join the choir!

-----------------

Robin, on her side of the family, an identical twin cousin married an identical twin girl. Although it was wished (or cursed as some said) that it would serve them right to give birth to twins, they had three single births. As for the other half of the two twin sets, the boy is still single and last I heard, the girl was single, too. So......... (Actually, I think they tried and didn't hit it off too well.) The twin girls have mid back blonde hair and are in their mid 40's. Both boys went bald.

Think this could be another novel? "A Tale of Two Twin Couples"? Has possibilities.......... 8)

Just tried to connect to it, and it's a set of 'hidden links' to extreme pornography sites now!

Oh, and it might be trying to drop malicious content onto the pc - good job I checked it in firefox first, I hope...

Thanks for the heads up.  I have replaced the link with a new one that works better.

Shocked
Not again!!!!

This is the third time I've had that happen! The last time I had to get the server owner involved to get my space back!

Well, seems somebody wants that webspot pretty bad and don't like my novel being there. I guess they can have it. What I guess I need to do is find all links to it and change them..
???

Meanwhile, a buddy bought himself a recumbant training bike. It's like an excercise bike only you sit in the recumbant position. I tried it out and it's nice. He gave me his treadmill and old excercise bike.

Sorry to hear of your server problems, Sir Rat.  I hope the link I've used is OK - let me know if there is a better one I should use.

Recumbent riding can be addictive - but it looks like you'be benefited from your friends cast offs!  I've got to clear out the space in my "training room" so I can bring my bike back in for the season.  I just hate giving up my outside riding.

That was quick! The link you used is the correct one.

Yes, I benefited from this. Walking and riding outside here will soon be tough. Actually, I get a better workout on the treadmill since it can be set to go uphill. I wish it was big enough to ride the bike on it......

The bike can be set to a heavy load and there is no coasting. Good training for the KATY trail for my next century ride when I turn 50.

I did one when I turned 40 and my wife wanted me committed. I did it again at 45 (113 mi.). Want to do it at 50.

I've never done a century ride.  The closest I've done was 85 miles (and it was the 3rd day of a 6 day ride!).  A century ride is an excellent goal for you.  Good luck on training for it.

The KATY is a rail trail, right?  Minimal hills/inclines?

Yes, this is an old rail bed. Being there are no hills up, then there are none down! It's gravel so my thinner tires have trouble with steering and traction. At best, 13mph. average. You can't coast hardly at all.

The good part is there are no cars and traffic stops. Every year, property owners along the trail try to close it. I don't know how much longer the state can keep winning in court. There is one owner in Marthasville that forbids stopping in the trail. Her signs, "Maintain your pace."

I ride a lot of rail bed trails in MN and WI. They are a slower pace, but much more relaxing than in traffic!

We have a few trails that are dealing with the legalities of ownership as well..... a real bummer if the trails revert to private ownership - lots of great trails would be lost.
