With some other shampoo I used before, I sometimes had a hard time combing through my hair before putting on conditioner.

Yes,that's true, and the ABBA Creme Moist simply smells great!Maybe I'll give it another try with a matching ABBA conditioner.I have heard that the ABBA Recoup. Conditioner is supposed to be very good.
And thanks for the detailed reviews, gigi  Smiley

I just love reading hair care reviews Wink

Gigi, your hair sounds very familiar to mine.  I also have
very fine, rather thin hair that breaks very easily.  I have
not been able to get my hair much past about 1 -2 inches past my shoulders, either.  Several years ago
I had it BSL After I gave birth) but got talked into cutting
it.    I am also a product junkie.  I think we fine haired
people are always looking for that something to help out
hair.  I also have been a perm and color treated junkie, too in an effort to make my hair look fuller.   I  have a good diet and take lots of vitamins, so my hair
must be genetic.  What did you think of Mane and Tail?
I used to use it but I quit because I noticed the conditioner had wax in it which builds up on the hair. I
like it though.  I use pantene,Wella Shampoo for color
treated, Matrix biolage, Infusium, Progaine(shampoo)
Thermasilk, Citre", Aussie.  I promised myself I wouldn't
buy any more until I used those up.   I also take a daily
multivitamin, MSM 1000 mg, Flax seed oil, vitamin E,C
and Zinc.   I no long blow dry, use a curling iron and
wash every third day.  I also try not to use styling
products that have alcohol in them.

I forgot to mention I also use Tresemme products and
John Frieda Frizzeze.  There are probably more , but I,m
just doing this from memory.   I hear the Omega 3 is
supposed to make your hair shiny.

: Thank you Thank you and many more "Thank You" Grin  I am definitely going to file your post to my Hair Care Folder for future reference.  This is sooooooo useful.  I have never tried mixing my own potion before.  Can you tell me a bit about it?  Should I just mix them all together or should I follow any special procedure?  Is there any website you recommend me to read for more info? Grin

:  Once again, it is really very sweet of you.  I am glad you like reading my review.  As you can tell, English is not my first language.  I always worry that I'd sound confusing to poor reader who try to understand my posts Roll Eyes

: Yes, you and I have similar hair type Grin  Talk about the long voyage we have in searching for miracle.  Most often, we would give in every now and then, forget about the long term result, and use "perming" or "hair setting" as a temporily solution.
I find that CO helps in minimizing my problem of hair losing.  I have also started to protect my hair when going to sleep.  I divided my hair into two part.  Use a knee high panty hose to cover each part, loosely and gently tie the opening of the panty hose with a soft big elastic bang.  I do look silly.  Having two low ponytails hanging below my ears, bagged in a panty hose Grin  My DH is so well trained that he doesn't look surprise at all Wink  Nevertheless, I really see a significant improvement of breakage after started doing it Wink  I see less hair left on my pillow the next morning.  There is also less density in bending hair ends Wink

I take 5000mcg Biotin, 500mg omega3, 3000mg MSM and one tablet of silica (500mg horsetail extrait) every day.  I have only started for a week.  Hopefully, I will see some improvement in a month or two.

Talking about Biotin, if anyone of you take Biotin as well, here is some info that maybe useful... I bought my Biotin at Vitamin World.  They have this brand "Rexall" selling for only $1.8 per bottle (60 tablets 1000mcg).  I did ask the staff there why it was so cheap.  He told me that Vitamin World bought off Rexall and would like to clear the stock a.s.a.p.    I bought 8 bottles and I checked the expiry.  It is 04/06.  I think this is a great deal.  If you have a Vitamin World Shop nearby, you may like to go check it out Wink

The ingredients are all liquid at room temperature, so you should be able to stir them together. If they didn't want to blend evenly, I would try warming the container gently by setting it in a larger container of hot tap water. But that shouldn't be necessary, as the ingredients list doesn't contain any emulsifiers or thickeners, which it should if the product didn't tend to stay mixed.

If you buy the ingredients from the website I mentioned, you can also buy little bottles to put the stuff in and give as gifts to your friends.

eKatherine:  Thanks once again for your detailed instruction.  I will go ahead to order the oils from the website you recommended Grin.  And I will post my result later. Grin

Babyfine:  I forgot to answer your question about Mane n Tail.  I bought it not long ago and have only used it twice.  Both time for CO (Final Conditioning) AND so far, I love it!  What's so special about it to me is that my hair stay smooth and hydrated longer.  With other conditioners, hair turns nice after wash day but starts getting dry in a day or two. Undecided

Gigi-Maybe I should re-think Mane N Tail.  I used it
many years ago both the shampoo and conditioner.
I think the  Shampoo cleans TOO well, but the conditioner says it promotes longer hair which is why
I bought it.  I've tried a lot of products and I find the
more expensive ones(so far) do not do anything special
for my hair.   I think the only reason I quit using it was
because I heard that wax builds up on your hair but
since I found this site I've been doing a vinegar rinse
every 2 weeks.  My hair is like that, to  feels good on
wash day but gets dry later.   I've been washing every
3 days and do a CO the other days.
