Ummmm Sakina *I'm groveling big time here*

Could you go to the party thread and repost the lovely "musical selection suggestion" that you posted.

I *arrrgh, slink* accidentally deleted it.  BUT, I figured out what I did wrong *YAY* so it won't happen again.  Or we can add an S&M theme to the party and you can beat the livin' daylight outta me  Roll Eyes...g

Gabi, I'm glad you've solved the mystery of disappearing  posts!  I hope I remembered what I wrote- I posted again, anyway.  Its fine, no big deal.
Funny you should mention S&M, I have several toys as props from 2 Halloween's ago-I was a dominatrix and hubby was my slave.  He sucks at being my slave but we were the hit of the party.  I promise not to hit you too hard, since you asked and all.  I wonder if I can find some pics-they'll have to be scanned.  I got my hair done at the salon-I wore a mini tiarra and jewels in my hair (I was pre-hairstix at this time).  It was a hoot-one of the other guests thought this is our lifestyle and thought I was very brave for wearing my gear out in public.  I just said, "Thanks".  Guess it was a good costume.  We even had a spanking line up (at the host's request and his girlfriend's dismay-hee hee).  Luckily they're both friends of ours, but the year after she scheduled the party when I was going to be out of town.  Call me paranoid...  Will have to see what happens this year!

Well...I found some pics and have sent them with hubby to be scanned, so I hope to post them here soon.

Yesterday, the latest additions to the collection arrived:

Celtic Mist GeishaStix

and from the new line (collector's get to see first)

Shimmering Orchid ArtiStix
Divine Morn ArtiStix

I love the soft coloring of the ArtiStix.

Man!  Today this afternoon the power went out-YIKES!  Fortunately it came back on before we all baked to death!

So, I'm just waiting for my hair to get longer.  Ho-hum.  Not easy on the patience.

Lucky Sakina, got that Celtic Mist!  I was very tempted, it was almost a relief when it was sold!  I've spent way too much on hair toys recently.  Glad to see it went to a good home!  Smiley

Long hair is considered bohemian, which may be why I grew it, but I keep it long because I love the way it feels, part cloak, part fan, part mane, part security blanket.&&&&Sir Arthur Wing Pinero

Thanks, DW, it is a beaut.  Sometimes I'm glad, too, when a pair I like's already been sold and I won't be tempted to buy it when I really've been spending freely.

Well, will have to wait until next week for the scanned pics, hubby didn't get to it today and the scanner is at his work.   Undecided

Ugh!  I'm frustrated w/my current length.  I know it is growing and it seems long enough for a nice bun but not for the other styles I'm itching to do.  Humph!!

I should have known it was you that got those AWESOME two Artistix!  GrinYou beat me to them
I got the other two I also liked, but yours were my number-ones! Congratulations on very good choices!  Cheesy Cheesy
They look awesome to me, I think I will really love that line. How do you like them, now you've got them up close? Mine will take quite some time to reach me. Still haven't got my pearlistix either.

Pictures! We want pictures!  Grin

So, G_L , YOU took those coral stix that tempted me awfully. I was *this* close ordering them though I don't own anything that would have suited with that color.

No, Galadriel. I got the zircon coloured one and the SE with the colours like a Monet painting. Someone else is the culprit for your coral one  Undecided

DAMMIT!  I just wrote this and go to post it and my connection DISconnected and now I've gotta write it all over again.  I hate to do stuff over.  ARGHHH!  *deep breaths*  OK, again, from the top...

Thanks, everybody for writing in my journal.

G_L, the Artistix are awesome!  The Shimmering Orchids are breathtaking!  Seriously!!
I hope your order arrives soon!

Anais, you're right!  I do have a humongo collection!  I'll see about getting some pics taken!

Today my hair turned out very pretty.  I did my LMLing and then the usual Jessicurl applications of rockin' ringlets and confident coils then squished the excess water out of my hair.  The difference is that I applied a bit more confident coils after the usual technique.  After my hair dried and I finger combed it, my waves were softly defined and that makes me happy!!

Saturday is (was) the 14th day we've had the boys with us.  Jupiter and Ziggy go to the vet on Monday.  I hope then we'll know when it is best to do our "meet & greet" with them and Sweetie.  I'm sure they're itching to get out into the rest of the house.

I think I'm going to try a damp bun for work tomorrow.  It will mess up my waves, but I'm getting tired of always letting it down to dry completely and then doing something else with it.

No damp bun today-instead a dry french braid.  I just could not get out of bed to shower before teaching.  Adrenal exhaustion is really sucking, but I am seeing improvement with this new doc.  The braid was fantastic for every pose, including on the back of the head (reclined).  It may become my staple for awhile, dry or damp.  Guess I'll save my waves for a hot date w/hubby.

Meant to get around to clipping the splits today, got distracted.  We made a climbing "wall" for the boys-they sure are diggin' it.  Covered Sweetie's tree perch w/softer fabric.  Lots of construction going on!

I'm going to work on twin french braids, after hubby & I take our evening walk.

I decided that it was time for a new avatar.  Hubby loves this pic so I thought I'd use it.

Today was another french braid, lasting all day and through a very long nap.  Grin

I slept in my dual french braids last night, think it bothered my neck.  Guess my hair's not quite long enough yet to make it work.  Tonight I'll be back to my two flat low pigtails.

Took the boys to the vet, more antibiotics for 10 more days.  Poor babies.

I'm excited to announce that I'm leaving one of the gyms at the end of this month.  I've worked there for 5 years and it has become very unsatisfying to continue showing up.  So!  La La!
I'M OUTTIE!  WHEEEEEE!   8)

Maybe the less stress will help my hair grow faster.  It sure has grown a lot since the RF pic in 2000!  Wow.  Gabi's right-YAY ME!  (Thanks, Gabs)

Give a smooch to The Boys.  Those anti biotics can make some of them so crabby and I don't blame 'em - me too...g

Ziggy is definitely grouchy but the Jupiter is doing fine.

I am so burnt out-I just don't wanna go to work.  So, I didn't want to get out of bed early enought to shower.  I plan on ordering my Magic Pak at the end of the month so I'm trying to stretch out what I have left of my scalp oil and #27.

Hubby brought the scanned pics so I'm gonna post 'em here.

Oh boyohboyohboy - You simple MUST find those pics
Per your request, Gabi!

From Halloween 2003, the year of Mistress Ambrosia

...

Heeere's hubby!

...

Here you can see some of my "props", my backpack is a pattent leather coffin with a big red iron cross on the front.

...

A side view of my 'do

...

Here's the riding crop, for very naughty boys (it's hubby)

...

Our friends had made a coffin table (that's what I'm sitting on) we used it for the spanking line so I didn't have to bend all those guys over my knee.  Don't know how well you can see, but I'm wearing boots w/5" platform heels.

I love halloween.
