I'm not going to measure mine this month. Last month my hair was exactly 36 inches but since then I trimmed off about 3/4  of an inch  Cry to make the shape more straight across. I'll think I wait a month or two till it grows back.   Wink

January's measure: 23 inches

February's Measure: 24 inches.

and I had to get my other half to help me measure it because it was too long for me to do it myself properly. *lol*

Sorry I'm a bit late with my measurement.

Your never late with a measurement - we take them any time you want to give them!

Doesn't feel great when you need help with measuring BECAUSE IT IS TOO LONG!?  Congrats.

Yeah, it does kinda feel great.
And kinda not. I am really independant, so not being able to do something myself is sometimes very irritating. Smiley

But I think this is a good thing. Cheesy

Don't worry - when it gets a bit longer, you will be able to do it yourself again.  Then you can be independent again!

I finally got hubby to help me measure, so from Jan 2 to Feb 15 my hair grew 1 inch.  I'm now at 19.5  Grin
It's starting to feel long, but I've got to trim up the layers.  The idea of that was easier to take when I was at 18.5.  Is that weird or just me??

Trisha, I don't think you're measuring correctly. You should be measuring the distance from your hairline in front to the shortest layer in back. Try again, I think you'll like this number a lot better.

Oh!  Hmm...I just pulled a hank straight up on top of my head and measured that.  I do what, now?  --start at the top of my forehead and end at the shortest layer on the back of my head??

Most people start at the front hairline, go over the top of the head and down to the longest hair.

Thanks, gals, I re-measured and you're right, it is longer than I thought.  IF i did it correctly this time (*fingers crossed*) my hair is 7".

I brushed my hair straight back, started the measure at the top of my forehead and ended at the longest layer on the back of my head.

p.s. I don't think the measurement here is correct, so that's why I lined it out.
