Dear Hair Diary,

Today is workout day!  I will be doing the Neon ab workout.  Man it was cold lastnight.  I went out for a walk and came back frozen!...  All my x-mass shopping for "Mr. I'm in the doghouse" is done.  I'm still annoyed with him a bit....

Saw a neat TV show lastnight were a man shows you how to survive the desert.  Very neat!  So if I every get spirited away by some handsome shiek I know what to do!... Grin

Anyway, bye for now!...

This really made me laugh, but my first thought was yeah, you could ask him if he has a brother for me. Wink Grin  But that's so mean. Smiley Grin

Dear Hair Diary,

I must wash my hair today. I got some books out of the library yeserday.  One book I got is so full of foul words its almost not worth reading....

I did some henna on my hand lastnight, I'm running really low on the stuff and need to get more.

Looks like we might go to that bloody party tomorrow....  Hell, if I wanted to go to a hen house I would go to Maple Lodge farms!...  I do not do very well with groups of people as it is....  But we haven't been there in a month so I know the MIL will be in a mood...

Last night hubby asked me about the belly dancing costume his Mum was suposed to make for me.  I told him since she does not "aprove" of belly dancing she will not make the costume.  This pisses me off as she could make some really nice things!  I would love an egyptien style dress to dance in but I do not have the 700 bucks to buy one.  ... This tells you how mean this women can be...

Anyway got to go! Cool

I was watching this show last night and they featured a dancer (not a bellydancer, she worked in a night club) in LA who made her own costumes.  I doubt that she actually made them, to me they looked more like modifications than anything, but still I thought she did a pretty good job.

I was just thinking that if your MIL doesn't make a costume for you, that perhaps you can buy some basic stuff and modify them yourself, to give them a more expensive, professional type look.  The girl on tv used things like coins, lace, beads and other sorts of things to really jazz up her costumes, and they really did look good.

Oh honey I cannot sew worth beans!  I have a sewing machine, the most I ever made was a kimono and hubby made a woolen cape for me but that's it.  Lips Sealed

Dear Hair Diary,

I washed today and my hair feels and looks great! Cool  Other wise my day was s*&t!  My MIL's car went out of wack and she called every two mintues crying for my hubby to come over and fix it. ... He went there and there was nothing wrong with it.  He had to do a full check of the car so he was there all day and I home holding my &^%!...  I now think this car was not a good idea for her as she cannot take care of anything!  We told her what gas to put in but she just ignores us.  This will lead to motor problems, expensive ones!  What a COW!
But since she was a "pit tootsie" in the 60's she thinks she know everything about cars.  GAAAAA! Enough!!

My SIL's AI worked and now she's pregnant again...

Anyway sorry for the rant.... I know tomorrow will be better....

Oh, I just assumed that I was the only person left in the world who didn't know how to sew. Grin  Although, there's always the hot glue route, just a thought.
Don't feel bad about the rant, sometimes it's good to rant when the people around you are being aholes (oops... did I say that? Cool) anyway, hopefully it made you feel better Wink.

Angel, La Diosa (((hugs back))  Thank you so much.  Hubby has really buried himself this time. Embarrassed  He was talking about how people are lobbing against x-mass presents and how people go broke by march with there bills.  I said maybe its better to give home made gifts and he said oh well I know what you would do Lisa, you would sell my x-mass presents on ebay and buy your self Sh^%!  I am still very shocked that he said this.  I feel like someone has stepped on me.  I would never do that! Cry Cry He said he was joking but I know by the tone of his nasty voice that he ment it. God and he wonders why I have to take antidrepssants and downers...  I am so happy I have you ladies and gents to tell this to.  Bless you all for being hre for me.

Ugh...don't you just hate the "I was just joking defense"?  Must be a guy thing 'cause my husband often tries to weasle out of what he says in the same manner. Roll Eyes

I know what it's like to have someone that you love, and who should know you better, accuse you of thoughts or actions that are beneath you.  It really hurts, but this will eventually pass and you'll feel better (hopefully sooner than later Wink).  Hang in there. ((hugs)) Smiley
