p.s. i seen the rerun on the tyra show and CASSANDRA was on. it was soooooooooooooooooooooo good! they set this beauty queen girl up and picked on her long luscious locks. cassandra said u guys chopped off my hair and then gave the other girls extensions and she had that naturally already. it makes no sense. they are jealous freaks. also tyras hair is a weave(she allllllllllllllways says so on her show) , so i dont think she wanted that poor girl to have naturally gorgeous virgin hair up to her bum. now in a few months cassandra is going to get extensions. thats just rediculous. she has to get fake hair now. yuck!

Thanks guys! I used a stencil for the pumpkin, just so you know. I tried to come up with my own design, but I was strapped for time.

CurlyGirl - I missed the part about Cassandra possibly getting extensions! Poor girl.. Her hair grows fast though, and it looked cute on the show with the little flip. Maybe she should wait it out, join the board and hang out with us while we support her and her hair growth.

Color Touch Up Today

Lessee, my last color was about 3 months ago. Since my ends are doing well I didn't think I needed a trim. Valentina said my hair is in great condition. I told her of the things I've learned from the board and my current routine, and she was very interested in it. She's into holistics and home remedies, so I knew she would be.

I asked her about what's the trendy salon requests these days. She said since it's fall, people have been asking for deeper, richer colors. Styles that are full, like from the 80's are coming back in style but softer and not so stiff. Over the summer, it was all about Jessica Alba hair.

Hair Spottings

Today I spotted a lady with some kind of twist or bun in a Ficcare. I don't know enough about Ficcare to know if it's a Fake-are.

And I just noticed that the nurse at the doctor's office has classic length hair.. while braided! It was thick too. I complimented her on it, and she said it's down to her knees. She has to hack off "4 to 6 inches twice a year." Afterwards, I was thinking "6 inches max or 12 inches in a year??" Probably the former. Either way, wow!

Whoa, that nurse has some really long hair. It would be intersting to find out how many years she's been growing it.

That reminds me of this woman I saw walking down the sidewalk while I was on the bus a few weeks ago. She had her hair in a braided ponytail, but the tail still reached her knees! Needless to say, I was blown away.
