Hubby is gone again to teach the soldiers in Belgium for the next two weeks.  Undecided It's alright. I have to knit more scarfs and I will redo the basement (get rid of all the junk) while he is away.

Right now I am baking a banana nut bread for this afternoon. Line dance workshop from 14:00 until ?
Great workout, great people.  Smiley

Cool scrunchies!  I love having beads on my scrunchies.  I've crocheted a number of them with beads to match specific outfits.

The leather slide looks fantastic in your hair.

I just dyed my hair to get rid of all that grey and even out all the other shades I currently have. Hopefully it will turn out one nice brown tone.

Going to Belgium tomorrow morning to be with my hubby over the weekend.  Smiley Haven't been there yet and Belgian chocolate is famous. We will see Wink

Puppies have their "hair appointment" this afternoon. Actually only Ms Buttons, Sheeba is going to get a bath only.

*********

I am upset. JC Penney CANNOT deliver my favorite braided rugs to me. Not to my APO address nor to my German home address. Because of the weight and the seize.  Cry
Have to go to Plan C: call airlines and see if my son can take one on the flight with him.

****************

Finally found the RIGHT vanilla colored curtains for the living room. And I bought a gorgeous weaved box yesterday where I can put 2 comforters and a couple of pillows in.  Smiley

Okay. Things to do before I can get on the road ...Again

I am soooooo glad to be back home. Belgium is pretty expensive  8)

Bought a green pumpkin (Geenland blue is the name) looks cool  8)

Bought some home made jam: pear and rhubarb with peach

And a girl was selling hand painted flower pots: I couldn't resist when I saw the sad puppy face on the clay pot  Smiley I just had to buy it

And last but not least, I was able to "practice" some of my long-forgotten French I had learned in school once upon a time  Roll Eyes I barely remembered anything.

********
Almost made it home in a little over 6 hours, but then the Autobahn clogged up again and I went from one little stau to a huge accident involving 2  semi-trucks and a car....it took the fire dep, police and some other helpers quiet a while to cut one of the drivers out of his cabin. Then we saw the helicopter coming in and taking back off within minutes.....I hope the guy or girl is okay. Over an hour and a half later the Autobahn was cleared at least halfways and police was directing traffic around the site. The whole thing happened about 2 minutes away from the exit I have to take. I heard a discussion on the radio today about having speed limits on the German Autobahns. I am wondering why they are still discussing that - just do it!

It sounds like you got some good finds, Moonchild! I've never heard of, much less seen, a green pumkin so that sounds really cool.  Cheesy

Saturday was KEITH URBAN concert time.  Smiley

He sounds just as good live as on his CDs. It was great. But everything around it was more or less a big pain. We (some friends and hubby) left around 3 p.m. on Sat afternoon to drive down to Munich which is about 3 1/2 hours away. Thanks to modern technic -GPSsystem- we had to problems finding the "Backstage". This place was a little smaller than I thought it would be, but okay. We had to stand in line in front of the gates from about 7p.m until 8:30 p.m. then the gates opened for the crowd. Finally inside we were kinda shocked. No chairs, no nothing. It was standing only. Wished they would have made it an Open Air Concert, I could have brought a blanket or something. The lady who was singing first put the crowd almost to sleep with her slow songs......Then finally Keith himself! As mentiioned before he is great! A few minutes before midnight I had to fight my way thru the crowd to get back outside....I just couldn't stand up anymore. My legs were killing me.  Undecided  So, I missed starring at him, while he performed his last 3 songs for the night. Poor guy had deep circles under his eyes. He had concerts in 3 other cities before he came to Munich. And I bet that somebody took him to the Octoberfest  Grin
The way home was prolonged with staus and traffic accidents, and we finally put the key in our front door at 5 a.m. Sunday morning. pffffffffffft. Was I glad to be in my bed!  Smiley

Just measured my hair  Smiley  Smiley  Smiley 49.5 cm!!! Yay! According to the conversion chart 19.48 inches.

If I remember correctly that would be 3.5 cm since the last part of August.  Smiley

Hair is dirty. Need to wash it, but I am sick. So. I just pull it all up and hide it under a wool hat. Hubby is laughing at me....
Been in this COR class all week, and these 4 guys sitting right in front of me were sick, well, nobody needs to wonder where the viruses went to.  Sad

Thanks curlygirl!

I guess it's the time in the year to get sick.

Well, well. I ended up in the hospital last night. Allergic reaction to the antibiotic the doc prescribed - I never felt that horrible in my life before.

And now today, I had to bring hubby to the hospital. He might get his appendix taking out.  Undecided
It's just not a good week.
