Mode of transport to Bulgaria and accomodation whilst new house is being built are on our driveway now being beautified. ha ha

One more week to go and i'm offline unless i can find the odd internet cafe/library.
We're travelling through the following countries:
UK (obviously) France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria....will take loads of pics and put a few on here, particularly the Austrian mountains.

Love the hairsticks and styles!

Cute trailer! We have an RV for camping and whatever - we've used it as an extra bedroom when guests have visited.

Good luck with your travels and the house building.  Let us know how things are going when you have a chance.

Why thank you, you've very kind. I use Lush Henna, smells like a fresh mown lawn. Trouble is it looks like something you don't want to drive across borders in Eastern Europe with so i'm worried how i'm going to get hold of it once we move. ???

Can you mail it to your new address?  Or to someplace where you can pick it up?

I am finally back online in Bulgaria. We arrived July 1st and have got a much bigger family. 2 cats 2 dogs 7 ducks and 6 chickens. We've also got 9 Turkish builders on site 7 days a week for the last month. (see website for new build, i think we're on page 6 now).

Well my darling husband took my hairlength photo yesterday and i'm sure my hair is GETTING SHORTER. Undecided i'm totally gutted AND it looks as if i'm putting on weight too judging from my back. It's hard to do my workouts in front of 9 guys so i haven't been doing them and boy is it showing.
On top of that my hair has been damaged by the 100 degree sunshine this summer (below 45 today) which means i've got to chop at least 2 inches by the looks of it.
... Taken in March/May of this year and yesterday...........
...

I could cry.
I kept my hair up in a pony tail (hairsticks kept catching on the caravan awning, caravan door, van door) thinking this would be enough to protect it. Obviously not. To make matters worse i haven't the language skills to go to a hair dresser and ask for just a trim and my husband always a) cuts too much off AND b) cuts it at an angle.
The only good news is i've found a henna supplier on ebay who posts to Bulgaria.
Everything else in my life (apart from the sudden cold snap) is really good.
Sorry, just had to moan to people who understand how it is to want to have long healthy hair. Cry

Good to see you around again!  Sorry about your hair woes.... maybe it is just the stress that has slowed your growth?  Give it time - it will grow.

Awwww thanks guys. Actually, i did chop off 3 inches at the weekend and it feels so much nicer to touch now it's not like straw so i guess what i lost on the swings i've gained on the roundabouts. I'll grab a photo of it tomorrow. I've never bothered measuring but i'm going to tomorrow and start putting entries into the measurement section. I have no idea how short my hair is now.
Thanks for putting it into perspective for me.XXX Wink

I have just had a look on Lush's overall website, and I think they have stores in Serbia and Romania, but not Bulgaria.  I don't know which store would be closest to you or whether you would want to try bringing one of those henna blocks back... but I thought that you would like to know!
