I use Pantene frizz control shampoo and it really actually helps my hair.  I am careful only to use it on the top of my head otherwise it dries it out.  I know a lot of people don't like cones, and I am considering trying a Burt's Bees shampoo or something similar to see if it makes a difference.  I, personally think they really help my hair and I haven't gotten nearly so many tangles or frizz since I started using this.  But it really depends on your hair and what's good for it.

My hair absolutely depends upon cones. I would not want to imagine a world without Pantene.  Shocked

I had several bottles of cone free, organic shampoo and conditioner that needed to be used up or thrown away.  So I used them up and that went fast!  I kept hoping it was just a matter of time before my hair would get used to it but that never happened.  My hair was out of control, and felt dry even though I'd apply a liberal palm sized amount to my hair and let it sit while washing myself.  I'd still have to spray leave-in conditioner on my hair and twice the amount as during cone days.  I'm glad I didn't suffer any split ends though.  That was my biggest concern.

Now I'm back to Schwarzkopf Gliss and Pantene product and my hair is behaving itself very nice.  It feels smooth and looks healthier.  I don't need my expensive leave-in conditioner daily any more and a few spritzes are enough if I need any. Smiley

If cone ingredients is said to help with stablizing frizzy hair than my hair would beneift on them. I know herbal essences products contain quite bit of them and my hair turns out okay.
