Walmart is scary no matter what time of day it is, in my opinion.. hehehehe.  I always end up in the sporting goods section for some reason... *raises eyebrow at the sweetheart*

LOL @ N.F... Paul doesn't typically have that problem, although get him in auto parts, painting stuff, etc... and i may need to find a spot to sit....

He told me to tell you guys hi!

also, here's the braid I was talking about..
...

the red line is my natural waist, and the blue line is a NORMAL shaped person's waist, roughly belly button.

Yay for almost waist length braid!

I love your braid Kiraela!  Not only is it long but it remains thick the whole way down, great job! Cheesy

Hi, Mike!

Nice braid, Kiraela! I like the way the colors in your hair weave together.

Thanks, La Diosa! This was actually the second braid photo attempt... the first braid, for whatever reason, did some wonky tapering down near the end, and was shorter, too.  Huh  @Juri, it's taken me a while to get used to the uneven coloration, but honestly, now I sort of like it. Proof that even accidents can grow on you...

I sometimes get random moments where I think about things oddly... like the fact that I've come up with an explanation for part of the reason I love sleep so much... I've always loved it when someone will sit down and read me stories (Acquired when I was young, I'd assume)... My dreams are always so very vivid... I have heard that some people dream in black and white... I don't. I think there are more colors in my dreams than in real life... like my brain is making up stuff as it goes. but I also almost always remember my dreams (I still remember at least one from when I was 12 or so...) .... Basically, it's like every night, for however many hour's I'm asleep, My brain is telling me stories of adventures, magic, life, etc. I do dangerous, exciting things in my dreams that I'd never do in real life... So yeah, maybe I do like sleeping. Is it any wonder?

Oddly enough, I even almost like the (few and far between) nightmares, because I always have a sense that it's not real, so I can sort of enjoy it as a personalized horror movie. Then again, I can also feel pain in dreams, so... it's not quite as amusing.

Hello again!

Found an interesting gothy band on myspace, which set me to fiddling with it... It's now been dressed up for the darkening season... Cheesy (prettiness ahoy : www.Myspace.com/blackened_bloody_roses )

I did all the imagery myself, with a camera and a bit of editing.

speaking of which, I've developed a liking for taking pictures of twilight. odd? Possibly. Pretty? definately. The background is a modified photo of the trees in my backyard this evening. It almost looks like it should be some sort of fancy brocade or embroidery or something....

Oh, and as for hair. Half up, simple but gorgeous... Honestly, I've always adored the look of seriously long, dark brunette half ups... it's a strange thing, but pretty...

Also, as for the white hair count, I've now got what appear to be two white hairs, and a red hair.  Just one, and it looks almost as if I managed to henna one single strand... it's that bright. *shakes head* odd I tell you...

then again, that's me today.
odd.

Okay, I'm a few hours late with this one...

CHAOS CHILD

Fear me.
Welcome me not into your life.
My touch is doom to you and all you love.
I am the destroyer.
I am Chaos' child.
All you are will crumble to dust at my touch.
My gaze has brought strong men to their knees.
They beg me, "no more. please, no more."
I am the eye that sees your hopes and passions.
I am the hand that tips your house of cards.
I am the Chaos Child.
I am the Destroyer.
If you do not run from me you'll feel my power.
Every step I take is another life ruined.
Your tears will fall if you so much as feel my breath.
Fear me.
I am the Chaos Child.
I am the Destroyer.

Thanks! it came from a darker place, but... then again, they say misery is the best source of beauty, right?
Actually, it's been a long struggle in my own mind, to convince myself that I'm NOT the source of everyone's problems... that I'm not to blame for everything. I've always shouldered far too much guilt for things that I've had nothing to do with... tis a fault I'm not sure I'll ever really overcome...

Much like my overuse of the "..." symbol.

Thanks largely(read: completely)  to my mom and stepdad, I'm now awaiting the arrival of two patterns ( http://www.smartcart.com/1sew/cgi/display.cgi?item_num=4091mcc and http://www.smartcart.com/1sew/cgi/display.cgi?item_num=3623sim)  and the fabric to make my first dress and chemise! WOO! happy me.

I'm going with a dark navy flannel for the dress, and a light seafoam green opaque gauze for the chemise... if the colors are AT ALL like what they were on screen, it should look completely stunning when finished. also, I'm a big fan of natural materials ( man made fibers just feel... wrong somehow.. to me) so the fact that I got all 100% cotton material makes me happy. Also, I talked to mom on the phone for probably 3 or 4 hours... both of us on the 'net, looking for the perfect fabric. "ooh, how about this one?"" pretty, but what about the one next to it?" "ooh.. wait, tis a knit. nevermind... a similar one three rows down that's wool!"  you get the idea? LOL... I haven't had as much fun in months!

Good news, Mom is looking for a job down here... when her current contract is up I think they'll be heading down! I never really appreciated what cool parents I had until I wasn't living under their roof anymore, and got away from that typical "oppressed teenager" attitude. Now that I'm living on my own, it would be cool to have mom around to go shopping with... mike to teach me more cooking... stuff....  ect..

also: hair=braided as usual.

I made an observation today, that I'd like to share with you all.

One of things I like about Louisiana... is that it is so filled with freaks, oddballs, whackjobs, and nutcases, that my own particular brand of abnormality goes completely unremarked upon.

This is also one of the things I hate about it.

go figure.
