Hi Brunette85, Have you tried just a touch of oil on the ends. Works wonders for me. I put a drop or two on my hand, rub hands together, then work thru ends only. Because of the thickness of my hair, I section it into small sections to start with. So beware, a little oil goes a long way depending on your hair type. I am currently using grapeseed oil. It seems lighter that evoo.
It is getting much colder where I live too. Was 37 degrees Sunday, and 48 degrees today, but it dropped back to 39 between 4 - 5pm this afternoon.
Good luck

Static comes with dry air and winter usually means dry air.
A couple of ways to control static:
Use a leave in conditioner
Oil your hair or oil it more often
Use a small amount of aloe vera to control fly-away hair
A used dryer sheet will also help to control static - just wipe the sheet down the hair
Good luck with your hair and your studies.
