Hair:  This morning I tried CWC...and I think I like it.   Smiley  I got my hair wet, applied Pantene Classic Care condish on the ends, used Pantene Breakage Defense shampoo on the top, rinsed out the first two, and then let some Breakage Defense condish soak in while I showered the rest of moi.  Hair is soft, shiny and manageable.  Nice!

Other:  One of my coworkers walks every day at lunch for exercise; well, usually every day.  I asked if she would mind me walking with her today and, of course, she said no, she didn't mind.  I NEED to start walking again and today is that day!!!   Wink  Of course, now that our area has been cooler for the past several days, I actually feel like walking again.

Ya think?!   Grin  Hey, I can't help it we both have good taste in most things!!   Roll Eyes

Got to campus early this morning with the intent to walk before work--which I did.  Man, it felt good!   Smiley  The weather is still gorgeous right now, with clear blue skies and cool breezes.  NICE.  I walked for about 25 minutes with some hills thrown in for good measure (whew).  I may take another short walk over the lunch hour.  I'd rather walk earlier in the day anyway, rather than after work.

Snacks for the day include Dannon Light and Fit yogurt (chocolate raspberry--yum), flax meal bread, and home cooked oatmeal (no salt, no fat, no sugar--I'll add sweetner).  I'm feeling good!   Cool

Hair:  CWC again this morning; this is now my official favorite method of washing.  Why didn't I try this sooner?!   Huh

Other:  Walked before work again this morning, and will probably take a short walk at noon, too.  Yesterday morning's route involved some hills and, while I had no trouble *during* the walk, this morning my left hip is a might cranky.  I think enthusiasm clouded judgement and I overdid a bit.  So no hills today.   Wink

Tomorrow morning I'll be at the local Cracker Barrel, having breakfast with an old friend who's in the area visiting her parents.   Smiley

Keep up the good work, Trisha!  A hot bath in epsom salts will take care of that hip.  Some gentle stretches would help, too.

Mmmm, I love eating a Cracker Barrel.  I don't get to eat there often since our is far from where I live.  Have fun meeting up with your friend!

The similarities just keep stacking up, don't they, Trish?  Wink

Too bad Cali doesn't have Cracker Barrels. I've heard good things about them.

It's good that you found a hair routine that you're happy with. Cheesy

Hmm...I've never eaten at a Cracker Barrel although I LOVE their sharp cheddar cheese.  It's the only sharp cheese that I ever buy.  My grandparents always bought it when I was a little girl... although, most of my adult household purchases are based in childhood. Roll Eyes  I tend to still use the same products that my parents used.

Oh, I wanted to ask you if your hummers feed at the same time or if they only come one at a time?  My hummers (eventhough I don't have alot) like to eat alone and will chase the others away if they approach the feeder.

Hair:  No-wash day #2; hair is in a high ponytail.  Again, crown looked fine at home, but looks extremely greasy at work.  Perhaps my bathroom lighting is WAY off...   Huh  I haven't been going two days without washing lately, but I simply wasn't in the mood this morning.

Other:  Early morning walk again today, for 20 minutes, and will do so again over the lunch hour, probably another 20 minutes.   Smiley

Saturday morning was wonderful, spending time with my good friend.  She lives in Ohio but her parents live in a small southeastern Missouri town.  We ate good food at Cracker Barrel, chattering up a storm in between bites.  Then we went hunting for quilt templates and hit three stores doing so.  It was nice having "girl time"...  I don't do that too often anymore.  I wonder why?

LD, hummers are EXTREMELY territorial, extremely!  It doesn't matter how many feeders you hang; if you have more than one hummer, they will fight over the food.   Smiley  There's nothing you can do to stop this, it's simply normal behavior for them.  They don't actually hurt one another when they "fight", it's more  of a fussing than a physical damage.  Just keep the feeders filled and let them do their thing.   Wink

Aren't "girl days" great? I don't have them so often either.  Undecided

Yeah, I noticed that they weren't hurting each other, thank goodness.  I just didn't know that it was normal for them to be so territorial amongst themselves. Crazy birds! Roll Eyes

Thanks for the advice! Smiley

Hair:  CWC this morning; hair is down.

Other:  Met with my cancer survivors group at lunch today.   Smiley  Unfortunately, I believe two more women will be joining us at our next meeting.   Sad

LD, you're very welcome!  --Always happy to talk about hummers.  Second to cats, those little guys are more entertaining than any television I've ever watched.   Grin

Still on the subject of "girl time"...  I've decided that when hubby's lodge resumes meeting next month, I should take advantage of those evenings when he's gone for a few hours.  He typically has 2-4 meetings a month where he's gone for at least 3 hours or more.  So why do I sit at home watching mind numbing television?!  I'm determined to do *something* on those evenings...even if it's just looking at fabric in the hobby shop, or browsing through bookstores, or...whatever!  Know what I mean?  Just to get out of the house and break this suffocating routine I seem to have fallen into.   Cool

Hair:  CWC again this morning.  Normally today would have been a no-wash day, but I felt like having clean hair.  *shrug*  Also, for the past couple of days, my hair has FELT longer.  I caught myself yesterday flipping it back over my shoulder and thought, "Whoa!"   Smiley

Other:  Did a 25 minute walk this morning before work.  If we don't get rain, I'll walk again over the lunch hour.  I feel so much better now that I've started walking again.   Wink

Hair:  You know, LD, it IS a nice feeling to be thinking once again of my hair in terms of it being long.   Smiley

No wash day, hair is in a ponytail.  Need to do a vinegar rinse soon.

Other:  Missed walking before work this morning, but I'll walk over the lunch hour.  Today is move-in day for new freshmen.   Sad  I am NOT ready for these students to be back on campus.  Although...!  I have been seeing a lot of long hair.   Smiley
