I used to like the EGL styles when I still had a face that could get away with it.  I discovered the style when I was frustrated that I couldn't find a functional combination of Victorian and 1950s styles.  Now I just like mature 1950s styles and I don't think my face looks young enough for EGL anymore.

EGL sounds really cool!  Mature 50's styles sounds great too. Ala Dita von Tease would be neat to try Smiley

Hi Hon,

Yes I did see Star Trek!  The only thing I did not like was the new Kirk...he did not pull my chain!  Otherwise it was a thrill to all the other characters!  I hated how they made us wait to see Scotty.  I liked the new spock, got a kick out of Mccoy and loved the fight sceen with Sulu!  All in all I liked the movie. I Had tears in my eyes to see how old Lenord Nemoy has gotten Cry  I give the movie 4 stars Smiley

Dear Hair Diary,

Spent the last three days looking after a very sick Don.  He seems to be getting better which is good.  I feel kinda crappy...not enough sleep I guess. Embarrassed

I have been enjoying using the ez comb Smiley  My hairs been nice and curly. I got a nice floral and feather hairtoy in black and teal at the dollar store.  I glue gunned it to a french clip.  I also got some cute clips shaped liked cocolate muffins Smiley  I also got some nail polish, black, pearl light blue and clear with hearts floating in it.  We got some neat dollar stores in the area.

Anyway I am off...

Dear Hair Diary,

My Don is all better now and back to work!...  I went out with him yesterday on the truck as it was his firit day back and I helped him.  He's still taking his meds and ventolator and has to finish them off.  I made him Goulash and biscuts for dinner tonight! Smiley

Been having fun with my hair.  I go some cute hair ribbons and clips from the dollars store.  I also found some vintage clips in a old little drugstore in my area.  I got the ones shaped like cups cakes!  Too Cute!!...

Had the pest control people in today putting down bait for the mice. Still waiting for the super to come with the screens for the windows.  According to my neighbor upstairs there will be a big bug plague very soon.  ... We already got the eel flys, but the next lot are big and nasty things lacy wings. Shocked

Tonight I am taking a long bath!!  Smiley

Dear Hair Diary,

It's a rainy day...time for more scary movies!!  I watched The Grudge 3 lastnight, it was really good! (Poor Don hide in the other room)  Hairs doing good.  Been collecting the shedded hairs and now have almost enough to make a nice rat Smiley  Been using Giovanie leave in spray at night before bed instead of the oil with great results! Smiley

Well, I am off to do housework..  Tongue

Dear Hiar Diary,

Don came home for lunch today and gave me a bottle of Harajuko Lovers perfume!!  He got me his fav with is "G".  I was so tickled!! That plus a phone card and $50 bucks to got shopping!!  What a sweet heart my Don is!!!... I go through that perfume alot so it great to have more!!

Hairs been nice and curly.  I wore it down today when I went shopping.  Got some cute ribbon hair ties along with other goddies.  I got another Lucky Cat figurine at the candy store and some herbs and houseplants as well.

Later Don is picking me up and I get to work with him tonight.  He's been working every nigth till 10:00 trying to make up for being sick for a week. I was so scared when he was sick.  I did not sleep for three days!  Don has asthma and high blood pressure so having pneumonia was dangerous..coupled with his weight and age eeeee!

Before I forget! Saw the cutest thing the other night.  I was laying in bed with Don and I heard a squeaking sound from the window.  I got up and saw two bats hanging from the window sil!  They were soo small and fuffy! Kaweiii!!!!  Now we do not have screens on our windows yet so I made sure the curtain was closed.  Happyly they did not come in for a visit. Roll Eyes I told Don not to kill them if they did, just throw a towel over it and let it go.

Anyway I am off!

I'm sure that was pretty cool to have them outside your window.  I had one fly in my apartment once.  It was the first close encounter that I'd ever had with a bat.  To say that I was extremely frightened and freaked out would be an understatement.  Tongue

Dear Hair Diary,

Hairs been doing good.  Woot need to get measured tonight!  I should do a heat cap treatment soon.  When out on the tow truck with Don yesterday. I made onigiri and fancy cut veggies for our bento boxes.
Lastnight when we got home the neighbors cat was in our place. Thank god he did not grab my budgie bird! Sad Don just looked at him and he ran to the window.  We had to lock the windows and put on the fan cause it was very hot.  I got to go complain to the super today. Tongue

I got a really cool short tartan skirt and some nice blouses at Talize (second hand store)  The school girl look is really cool and I was able to pull it off quite well! Grin  I wore black tights and my mary jane shoes with a white blouse.  Got lots of complements and googles... Grin

Oh I found this really neat product!  Its called Body Glide anti blister and chafing stick.  It works reall well on the back of my heals to prevents blisters!  My mary janes are a little tight on me so I put this stuff on and not problems all day!  www.bodyglide.com

Anyway I am off Smiley
