Dear Hair Diary,

I have been exprementing with rolling my hair to give it a more managed look.  I tryed orange perm rods.  What I did was dampen my hair with rosewater and a bit of curl spray.  Then rolled my hair and left it in till it dryed.  My hair looks a little more managed but a bit more straight Huh  I used papers on the ends to protect them and all.  Still do not know if I am going to keep with this...

Don is gone till Sunday doing church work so I have some free time. I miss him already.. Embarrassed  His kids are coming over to see me tomorrow and Saturday which will be great!  His daughter is giving me this awesome japanese/chinese cut out picture that her boyfriends brother has.  I had seen it at her place and loved it.  When the guy found out he said I could have it.  Too cool! Cool

I finally got the one perfume set I have been drooling over since last year!  I saw it at SDM priced down from 60 bucks to 40!  It's the Harajuku Lovers solid perfume.  It's he doll heads from the perfume bottles.  I saw them when I was out getting some tights with Don the other day and he was like oh that's the ones you were talking about!  Poor guy, needs to get out more!  LOL!!  Anyway I got them now! Don's a big cologne person himself everthing from Axe to Baldessarini.  Wish I still worked at SDM, we would have tons of free perfume and cologne.  Well, not that I did not try to get back into the company...I must be on there shit list...oh well...there loss. Wink

I finally found my ipod nano!  Now I have tunes to go!  We had Manderin last night for dinner.  We got the promo coffee cups free with out coffee and tea. My god they are sooooo big!!!  I can use them as soup cups. There a spring green with pink writing.  Roght now the Manderin has the 30 year anniversery thing going.  there giving away 30 trips to Japan!!! Cheesy They give you a faux passport thingy you get stamped everytime you come and I have two stamps so far, once I get 5 I put the page in the drop box.  Wish me luck!!!

Anyway to day I am going to do a heat treatment on my hair, facial and my nails.

Bye for now Smiley

Dear Hair Dairy,

Was saddened to hear the new about David Carradine this morning Cry  I was a big fan and was so happy his life was on the up and up.  I met Mr. Carradine years ago at one of my Ex husbands work fuctions.  He was so nice.  Poor thing... Cry

Today I am repotting house plants.  I got a really neat plant from Don's brother Lance a few weeks ago.  It looks like a cactus but lives outside on lawns.  Its like a flat rose with spkies on the end.  I got some herbs, rosmary, basil, and parsley.  Having trouble with a small madian hair fern, can't find the right window to put it in... Undecided Larry (Don's Dad) gave me a baby spider plant and it too doesn't want to grow.  Tongue  Other wise my vines are taking over!  I recall the time I had over 100 houseplants...welcome to the jungle! LOL!!

Bye for now Smiley

Dear Hair Dairy,

This morning I was awoken at day break by the man down the hall singing "Oh Canada" on top of his lungs, needless to say he could not sing Angry  After he finished I went out in the hall and yelled Play Ball!! Grin Stupid bugger...

Don's coming home tomorrow!!!  He's been calling me three times a day to check in.  I miss him alot Cry  His childern came and visited yesterday and today.   I like his kids very much and they cheered me up alot.  I have not been sleeping well but that goes with missing my Don Cry  I have a problem that I cannot be alone at night.  I wanted to borrow his father's dog, a collie named Cuddles,  but his step mother is too attached to it. Undecided  We plan on getting a cat.  I have been looking at Scottish Folds, there soo cute! Smiley

Hairs been curly and behaving.  The coconut heat treatment worked like a charm Smiley

Anyway I am doing laundry right now so I am off!

I have the same problem when my husband goes away and it usually brings on an anxiety attack.  However, after the first night alone I'm ususally fine.

Thats a good idea.  But, why did you decide not to get another bunny?

I have no idea what his problem was but I was thinking of singing the Star Spangled Banner out side his door... Cheesy

Oh honey I would love another bunny but after 15 years with Bunnicula no other rabbit could compair to him... Cry  Hence it is high time I got a cat again. I haven't had one in years and miss it.  I did want a dog but a St. Bernard is way too big for this place.

Dear Hair Dairy,

Hairs doing good despite that time of the month is rolling around very soon. Tongue  Been working on my houseplants.  Got new pots and saucers. The mini jungle is growing!  I saw something awesome today!  I have flowers on my polka dot plant! Little tiny pink ones! so cute!  I miss my bonsai tree... Undecided  But you never know I might get another one.  Pinched back my basil and repotted the lavender I got the other day. The Pothos vine I have its getting ready to take over! Grin

Here is a pic of the chinese bird picture Shawn gave me Smiley

...

It is made completey of feathers!  I put it in Don's area of the bedroom as it reminds me of the hawk he has tattooed on his forearm.  The was a bit of posturing between Shawn and Don nothing serious...men are silly. lol! Roll Eyes

Yawn!  The nieghbor had us up at 2 this morning taking on her speaker phone...dumn %^&*!  Don told her off and she shut up....  Needless to say I am falling asleep.. Tongue

Nap time! ...

Dear Hair Diary,

Been vey hot in my neck of the woods!  Have beem wearing my hiar up lot.  For bed I put it in a very high pony tail.  I saw some Sauve condtinior at the super maket lastight and it got me thinking of doing CO's again.

In other news I might be getting a weekend job at a gas station.  It would be great to have my own money again. Smiley  Found some intetesting things in the dumpster the other day including a 3 foot tall champange glass.  I am going to use it as a fish bowl. Smiley  As for the movie Twilight, it was interesting, but I think geared more for the younger crowd.
Emailed my Ex and told him he can pay for our divorce...I have yet to hear from him. Angry

Anyway I am off

I hope you find employment soon.  Is it hot and dry or hot and humid where you live?  Just a bit of humidity on a lukewarm day is enough to wreck havoc on my scalp.

Thanks Drear Smiley  It hot and humid here.  I live on the lakeshore so at least there a breeze at night.  We got fans going but they make arthritis flare up. Tongue
