Dear Hair Dairy,

I still have my cold... Sad  I feel like I have a ballon stuffed up my nose.. Tongue

Went to Thanksgiving Day dinner with Don's family. It was lots of fun!  We had dinner at a place called The Q.  Next week I am making Don sutffed turkey brest with veggies!  My frist TD dinner I get to make! I am so excited.  In my last marriage I was not allowed to make dinner so now I am going to have fun!!!!

I did my hair in a french roll and added a black feather and bow clip to it.  Erin was fedup with her hair and gave herself a chin lenght cut.  She looks great! Smiley

God lord....next month I will have been with Don for a year!!!  Time has flown! Don's been so good to me. Smiley  And his family loves me, his kids inculded.

Anyway I am off! Roll Eyes

Thanks so much!  Smiley   I plan on making Don a speical dinner and then doing a Japanese Tea Ceremony for him.  I am so happy I have no problems with his family.  Don's mother hated his late wife and so did half his family.  So I am very relived they like me and I like them very much as well.  Smiley Cool

It's nice that his family's so accepting of you.  You're lucky with his kids.

Mind you, it wasn't like that in the beginning.  His daughter (really his step-daughter)  thought when she first met me that I was 20 years old! Grin  She also gave me the 100 questions as well.  On my brithday Don gave me a birthstone ring and she thought it was an engagment ring and cursed him out on Facebook.  We quickly staigthen that out and she removed the post and apolgised.  Now all is good, she was just afraid for her Dad and rightly so as he has dated some real monsters since his wife died 5 years ago.

Dear Hair Diary,

This cold dry weather sux!!  Angry  My poor hair is so dry.  Time for a coconut heat cap treatment.  I should give myself one a week for a month.   Also I need a trim. I can have Don's daughter do it, she is very good with hair.

I got a free sample of John Fredia's overnite leave in for frizz and gave it a go.  It did not do a thing...

Been dealing with an evil spider bite I got on my tummy. Tongue  This is what happens when I dust the rads...they get even.  Undecided

Anyway its after midnight
Cheers!
Lisa

Being some what of a buddhist I do not mind most insects. Living at the lakeshore we get two insect plagues a year!  Mind you the one that gets me going is the Millipedes Shocked We get little grey fury ones! They drive me up the wall and onto the kitchen counter! I love spiders Roll Eyes  Don has Arachnophobia, he squeals and curses up a storm when he see's a spider.  They get all over the car's review mirrors and he spazs! Grin I am so bad!

Dear Hair Diary,

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh! My hair and scalp feels so much better!!  I did a an herbal hair tonic called Sukoon - Indian herbs in coconut oil and Amla for one day.  The added some Amla henna Vitaka creme for another day.  Then I washed with herbs and conditioned with Jason Sea kelp.  I fugure doing this once a week would be great!

In other news flipping meopause is driving me nuts!  Been so hot and sweaty. Tongue Embarrassed Cry I see the doctor next week so I will ask him about it.  No doubt he will send me to my quack of a G.P Angry

Anyway I am off!...

I'm the same way.  I like the term "some what of a buddhist". Grin  Although, I haven't seen a millipede in such a long time, I remember that they used to really freak me out.  Not sure what I'd do if I saw one again.  That would certainly put my "buddhist like ways" to the test...it might have to die. Roll Eyes

Hope you can get some sort of relief from your menopause symptoms.  Living with my mother while she was going through it, I saw first hand how crazy difficult that can be.
